The most overrated team left in the competition and in my view the weakest but delighted everyone is making them favourites to win the whole thing

Whilst I agree with some of what you have said SteveO; especially the bit about a Farmers League... They are a different kettle of fish to when we smacked them upside the head last Winter / Autumn(?)...


They are much improved and whilst the goalie is Good, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia and Vitinha (sp?) are their best players, they have pace and when they break they break as a complete 10 man unit. I am not saying this to dampen any spirits or hopes and for sure I know 100% we can destroy these Mofo's we still have to Turn Up and Do the Business (for both legs) in the same way we did with those cheating, dirty, diving fucks from mudrid .

Oh! And whilst we're at it ... I'm with DB .... that nonsensical feeling is still as strong as ever just like the Jedi Force!

They are certainly beatable but what I do think about them is that they do have goals in them - and especially in the first leg where we are without Partey, then we might be vulnerable.

Any kind of win going into the 2nd leg and I think we will go through though.

Can't say I share your enthusiasm ! Beating Real is no great shakes. They are a name rather than a team (like Man U) and I was delighted that we avoided Athletico Madrid. PSG are an all energy hard working team who play the same way home and away. We will need to be at the very top of our game to get anything out of the first leg and William Sleeper needs to wake up, stop switching off and making stupid costly errors at the back. If we get a draw I will be happy but can't see it!!

Same here. Not overly confident because we do have a clanger or two in our game and are very capable of grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory.

But I still have my weird, overpowering (and well documented) feeling that we will win the CL this year. No idea why, because we are lacking in some key areas, but there you go!

Back in the real (sic) world, our demolition of Madrid showed we can step up on occasions and given we are now down to what is in effect a cup competition, I'd say we are in with a decent shout.

So, more hopeful than confident.
