Service notice - forum issues sorted!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Service notice - forum issues sorted!

Post by DB10GOONER »

Apologies, lads, the forum has had some technical problems the last few days.

I let Rob_Admin know, and as per usual, Rob sorted it. This forum would not exist without Rob, so big thanks to him once again!

Looks like we were getting a lot of attention from AI bots. Apparently AI bots (even non harmful legit bots) suck up a lot of bandwidth, so Rob has banned them and turned the “under attack” mode on until they stop trying to access the froum.

Great to be back in business. Thanks Rob! 8)

Yeah cheers rob, a few days without and you’d start to miss the place.

Plus getting rid of the rumour that Arteta had drafted the technical side of the forum under his remit and started to manage it in similar fashion to the team.

Cheers, Rob.

The forum is back to being as free and easy to use again, just like Mr Finsbury Park Gooner's girlfriend in Ibiza. :barscarf:

Thanks for sorting things out Rob. We're all like heroin junkies with this place, it might be killing us, but can't live without the next fix.

I'm glad the doctor gave you some ointment to sort out that feeling......did he tell you to stay away from those type of girls?

Oh and probably sensible to cast off the CL feeling too.

Fantastic work all round there, gentlemen. Glad we're back, couldn't deal with watching a match and not having this place to get on and complain.

Thanks Rob and DB10 for sorting it out. Fuck those AI bots right up their artificial backsides!

Thanks DB10 for posting the update which I was going to do. Who would have thought that AI could learn anything form us at the forum.

I also feel bad since this all started on Saturday when i was at the game and spent a few hours after the game with the wife and kids wandering aimlessly around the streets of Highbury. I'd taken my daughter to her 2nd ever game and she had to watch that turgid rubbish and didn't realise the Arsenal can lose when we go :)

The spirit of 2010 is back mate - half empty grounds, limp dicked finales to the season, HostGator, and finally a lap of appreciation at Southampton and promises that we'll spend big in Summer. Benzema, M'Vila, Draxler, Joe Cole, Higuain are all coming

I thought it was a hostgator type thing in reaction to Saturdays bollox!

Well done those who fixed it.

Moaning at fam as no place to vent after that performance and Essex losing to the 6 fingered Somerset *word censored* today shocking!
