This game was Sooooooooooo......Wenger, I thought I'd actually got in a time machine and been transported back into somewhere between 2010 and 2017

Spineless, feeble defending, a pussy of a captain, 25000 empty seats for the last 10 minutes, some tepid half-arsed booing from those that did remain, having the piss taken out of us by the away fans, and a bunch of leaderless goons who didn't give a shit. Oh, and as soon as we go behind the other team's keeper might as well put the deckchair out and reach for his pipe, as tip tap borefest 1930s paced football is played out. Watched the body language when their second one went in and was just like those bad old days. Our captain being muscled off the ball for their winner summed up everything that's wrong with him right now

Massive summer for Arteta - its really all starting to look very Wenger

Horrible second half performance, on and off the pitch. Comfortable at 1-0 up and maybe that was the problem. Lesson for any aspiring manager ,If you want to win a game don't take off the driving force that is winning it for you.
I sincerely hope Timber is OK for Wednesday, White was skinned three times by their left winger, that could be embarrassing in Paris.
One gripe I would have is their winner, I think it was so obviously his elbow it came off. If he was wearing a long sleeves I could understand the doubt, but it seemed clear, to me anyway , that the ball touched skin rather than kit. However the loss is down to the manager , it should never have got to that situation.
Worth saying that regardless what part of the body the ball came off Raya should have dealt with it too.
Clear as can be that it came off his arm but of course, they can't seem to find an angle that shows anything that might go our way. Doesn't excuse any of the performance though, which was fucking shambolic. And fuck me, Raya for that second goal was horrendous, like watching someone trying to push a cat in a carry box or a child at the beach scooping sea water into the bucket. Watch him get lobbed from 45 yards in Paris after he's wandered off to the edge of the pitch for no reason.
