Heard a rumour we are willing to accept offers for Martinelli. Points to the fact we have to sell to buy.
We'll probably see the player he could have been for us

Agree with this. When he burst onto the scene under Emery, he was the most exciting talent we’d seen in a generation (along with Cesc) and even when Saka emerged, I thought Martinelli would be the main man.
Once Arteta got hold of him, he had to fight to get a start and his style of play changed. I realise that not every player that looks like a star at 18 or 19 years old develops as you’d hope, but I can’t shake the idea that Legohead neutered him.
If he is moved on, I hope he rediscovers the potential I was convinced he had.

Under a proper manager I think he could still do the business. Move him up top, bulk him up slightly and get a proper attacking coach to work with him on his finishing and I think there’s a deadly forward in there.IW8Goalmachine wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 2:50 pmMartinelli will be at Madrid if klopp takes over.Limerick Gooner wrote: ↑Fri May 09, 2025 2:43 pmPressure will build if we start poorly next season. I had 120 quid on us at evens to go potless this season..Couldn't believe the price
I'll be indulging in exactly the same bet next season in the hope it loses( it won't though) We've got a trophy allergy let's be honest..The clubs fucked.

If the bookies have any sense Falky, you’ll be lucky to get 1/5 on with that bet.

Liverpool will strengthen with all the money they have from not buying mush last year.
Man city will be back at it.
Newcastle's restraints will be less now they are in the CL so more signings.
Chelsea will spend another 500mil
Not looking great.
And you have Leeds now owned by redbull so they will be up around there in a few seasons.
Fucking hell

Sorry mate. I'm like the fella in Life on Mars. Had a bump on the head...woke up in 2010 looking at 20000 empty faded red seats. I'm desperately trying to make it back to 2025

Leao looking like he is going to Chelsea.
It very much seems to me that we don’t have targets lined up. Berta has only recently joined and has probably looked at our “watch list” and decided that it is a pile of crap and he needs to start again.
What’s the bet we waste another Summer as we haven’t identified our striker targets?

If and when you do, you won’t realise it, because it’s exactly the fucking same. The only difference is Mkl had a French accent and Mkll has a Basque one. You know the rest:
“Two Arsene Wengers…there’s only two Arsene Wengers”
