Bard i was listening to the radio when they went over to the forest match and spoke about the injury , apparently there was clear day light and it was obvious to everyone he was offside . The press should be all over the lino . that Sian woman , like ffs the bloke is having to be kept in a coma ,why didnt she flag it ?

Thens the laws

Big fat Martin Samuel said much the same as you this morning in the times but said lino was adhering to the laws/directions from pgmol

Watched it at the time and it didn't look good, but he did get up and carry on playing

But everyone knew it was only a matter of time before someone got seriously injured because of the stupid rule of allowing play to carry on if there could be a goalscoring opportunity.

If it's clearly offside then put the fucking flag up

Arsenal training today at the Emirates with Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard fully involved. ✅
Arteta said to the press "Its good to have Kai back just in time for the Champions league final"

Well, in fairness, Havertz makes a great nacho cheese dip to go with the tortillas when they are all round Arteta's gaff to watch it on TV.

The law about offside flags is a reasonable one but it's not used properly. It's because of VAR, if a flag gets raised instantly, if the lino is wrong then play gets stopped and VAR can't get involved. They wait if it's a good goal scoring chance so if a goal is scored, VAR can check the flag to see if it's correct. Problem is, they don't flag for anything, even if the player is 40 yards from goal on the wing. It should maybe just be for incidents in the penalty area to stop the c.unts from waiting 2 mins to flag for everything.

It's bad enough that he was so seriously injured... But can you imagine if he'd actually died as a result of his injuries.... You can bet your bottom dollar the Law Makers would soon change things.

One of the other Negatives in this is that the Lino Sian Massey-Ellis is a Decent Lino, but some Fuckwad Idiots have actually been blaming her, when all she did was follow the rules.

🚨BREAKING: Jurrien Timber to undergo an operation on his ankle over the summer

The defender has been managing the injury throughout the season and it’s been decided he needs surgery to properly address the issue.

It’s currently unclear how long he will be out for.

That just further emphasises what Augie was saying on another thread about how Arteta has overplayed and exhausted a group of 14 - 16 players instead of rotating the Squad and if he doesn't have the Quality of the players to be able to rotate then that is down to Him (and Edu & The Owners).

Besides the fact that Cheaty had 'Quality" players they also (Literally) had Two sets of Eleven players where they could rotate and Sub Quality players Like for Like in most positions. It's one of the reasons; with the exception of this season they have walked off into the Sunset with the Prem Title and Other Trophies.

Also; now that we know Timber has been playing with & through and injury it (for me) demonstrates just how Good he is. For me he has been one of our best Three players this season.

I think we all know what that means. :banghead:

A leetle beet neegle was always 6 months out, the fact that they aren't sure is concerning.

Is it related to his previous injury and wasn't dealt with properly at the time in order to rush him back?

Live score this morning reports that Timber will miss pre season for 25-26.

Have we unearthed the Dutch Tierney??

His contract is up in 2028 and they way its going he'll play for about half the time....i dont see a renewal in his future unless he develops some consistency of a more positive nature.
