Yesterday the cone boy in his post game drivel to the fans told them to "Make sure chasing a dream doesn't get blurry and you can see what these players are doing," - how about he starts practicing what he preaches ? How about he takes off the blinkers and starts properly analysing how his disappearing captain has performed this season, and do it without his "favourites" goggles on ? The media are trotting out lines suggesting that he is "off form lately", but the reality is that he has been gash all season - 2 league goals and averaging 1 assist every 3 and a half games is fcuking woeful for an attacking midfielder at this level  The first step to improving is recognising WHERE you need to improve, and that to me is a position needing to be improved every bit as much as the strikers position - one of the newspapers said that in yesterday's game too often instead of trying the incisive pass he opted for the "safe pass" and was misplacing them too, That as much as anything else highlights the mentality of the guy - afraid to try anything that isnt "easy" and is why hiding has becoming what he is recognised for most.

The cone boy has thus far attached himself and the disappearing captain by the hips, but imo those above him need to step in and now and say that has to stop and that if the cone boy doesnt change his tune then both are out the door

Will there be enough time in this window for us to sign all the players we've been linked with?

Yes, yes we are.

I doubt you will get many arguments on here.

I'm going to be interested to see the mechanics between Diet Pep and the new bloke Bertha. I read somewhere that there was a falling out between Diet Pep and Edu over signings. I don't think Bertha will stand for Diet Pep's shit, could be interesting....

Dear Mr Berta,

Can we please not have any more Chav or Cheaty rejects?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt hold much hope of that, i'd say there 's the Chav equivalents name and number in a red box on the wall at Arsenal marked with "in case of no proper transfers break glass"

I know some are not convinced about Raya being our No1 Stopper.... And the longer he is (No1) He seems to be making more errors, playing out from the back especially....So with Neto going back to where ever it was he came from... We definitely need to Proper No2 to push Raya all the way....

I think this might be the one, though I'm not sure how much he'd cost?

I read reports theyve had a falling out already , Arteta want Sesko and Berta is insisting on the big Swede and Arteta has got the hump and gone to the board. Could be bullhit of course, but we need a strong dof to stop any more inadequate signings.

Why not buy both?

Then Diet Pep's vanity non scoring non strikers can be banished :barscarf:

I think if we get Sesko then we'll be very disappointed in the long term.

A signing like this would not surprise me, because Nkunku would be a squad player rotated in the forward line and that means that Havertz is pretty much assured a starting place.

I’ve been thinking for a while that If we sign a proper, goal scoring CF, then what does Lego Head do with his vanity project? He either starts every week on the bench, or Arteta has to drop his other favourite, Captain Milksop to accommodate Havertz and I can’t see that happening. Far easier for Lego Head to sign another chav reject and not face pressure to drop Havertz and start the new boy.

This is going to be an interesting transfer window and however it pans out, it’s likely to see the Cone Boy paint himself into a corner.
