I cannot face them winning it, but I think they will. All the Man Utd fans I have spoken to up here in their heartland of East Yorkshire don't seem to be that bothered. Arsenal fans might be more upset than they are if they lose.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Wed May 21, 2025 11:21 amI can see augie’s point, but there’s just a visceral hatred for that lot up the road and it can overcome logic.
That said, I’ve got a horrible feeling that they’ll win. They ship goals, but they’re also able to score them, while Utd can tend to be toothless. If the scum do win, I’ll try to console myself with the notion that it might pile some pressure on Lego Head from our supporters, but given the state of our fan boys, that’s probably wishful thinking.
In truth, this final is a tough one to call. Just depressing that it’s come to this.![]()

Funny thing is and this isn't a wind up!
Arsenal fanbase and fans are not unlike utd fans!
We seem to have the same sense of entitlement utd fans had in the 80's, we also have the "tourist fan" problem!
Both away support considered amongst the best in plge!
I'm not affiliating us to them, but how any gooner could want sperz to win as much as a fucking teddy bear on a fucking rickety wheel is beyond me!

Any way envious of the 39 league games they’ve lost between them?Natural Born Gooner wrote: ↑Wed May 21, 2025 6:22 pmWon't lie, a part of me is envious about both of these lot being in a final, especially a European one

Completely unbothered by it. It’s like watching the Championship play off final. Similar level. Changes nothing for whoever wins it.

That's a perfect comparison. Two absolute strawweights hoofing it about to try and get themselves into a bigger boys division for the money and where they'll be out of their depth and thrashed every game.Limerick Gooner wrote: ↑Wed May 21, 2025 7:07 pmCompletely unbothered by it. The stadium announcer should pipe in the Benny Hill music over the tannoy to accompany this travesty.

They will be the European equivalent of one of the skid mark three in the Group stage.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Wed May 21, 2025 7:16 pmThat's a perfect comparison. I’m surprised a game between 2 relegation threatened dross teams is such a big pile of steaming shite.

Kicked it backwards off someone’s hand and bounced in. Banter.
