What hurts most is that is exactly the way Arsenal used to win finals. If we had won the final defending that way we would have said "that's the Arsenal we know". But they were wearing white and while we are a far better football team I don't think we could have done that since the Graham era. Actually, there was one exception - the Cardiff FA Cup Final v United when we hung on in there and Paddy won it on pens.

The finances are the only thing buts it's actually not that bad as they haven't made up the cash they would have by a top 8 finish which we would all expect them to, rather they lost if course but in grand scheme after such a bad league season it makes little difference
