🚨 BREAKING from @CarrieBrownTV.

William Saliba will miss the trip to Southampton due to a hamstring injury and will return in a few weeks.

Jurrien Timber underwent ankle surgery yesterday and will be out a few weeks.
Hamstring injury number 74 of the season, only surprise is that he doesn’t require surgery (yet) like all the others.
He's probably been told by Madrid to say he's got a tight hammy.

Can't wait for this season to end, it's probably been worse than any season ever, due to the disappointment frustration aire of inevitability and watching arguably the worst sperz team in my lifetime win a trophy!
Really looking forward to a football free summer.
Next season could bring anything, correct signings and some luck with injuries then who knows, but I fear the same.

Why does every failure of a season end with a cannon fodder match that leaves a smile on the face, a skip in the step and a hopeful, positive outlook for next season in our supine fans.

I would love for one of these disappointing seasons to end with a 0-4 mauling at home. Try victory lapping that!!

Southampton missing Harwood Bellis and Bednarek too. The only 2 that have been anywhere near respectable apparently

Here comes the end of season swatting. Ahhh....I can almost hear There's Only One Arsene Wenger ringing out

Go 5 up and stick Sterling in goal for the last five mins, for the banter.

Just took a gander at the BBC Football Page for todays games and these are some of the Stats for Arsenal This Season:

Arsenal's highest goalscorers in the Premier League this season are Kai Havertz (9) Gabriel Martinelli (8) and Leandro Trossard (8). The last time the Gunners went through a league season without anyone netting at least 10 goals was 1923-24.

That alone tells us why? We have been in so desperate a Need for a Striker...Havertz out for 3-4 months with injury still our Top Scorer
Then Martinelli whose Form Fell off a cliff at the end of last season
and then Trossard who has been very poor compared to the previous 2 seasons..

And if further evidence were needed:

The Gunners have scored 22 goals fewer than after 37 games last season.

I think we need to look in to why we scored so many more goals last season without the prolific striker we all know we need. Last season's team was better than this and no big names went out the door.

Is it simply down to Saka and Havertz being injured and Odegaard's form falling off a cliff?

I'd forgotten about Captain Invisible.

We'll win 5 nil and the superfan idiot brigade in our fanbase (you know the ones, the wannabe ultra clowns in the black t-shirts in the Conglomerates) will sing Arteta's name to the rafters and cheer for whatever player is their latest man-love obsession whether it be fat fucking chav dwarf Fat-heem Girling, permacrock Jayzooz, Carpark-Foot Partey, Captain Invisible, or the fucking slug CliveChenko.

Rice captain. Hope this is a precursor for him getting it full time next season.
