I cant say id blame nwaneri for cautiously checking the exits, legoheads basically pushed him to the edge of the door. It must be gut wrenching to sit on the bench watching Ohdeargod week in week out

Biggest BS transfer rumour ever incoming….
According to Metro, Real Madrid and Athletico are both looking to sign Raya…….AND…… we are looking to re-sign Emi Martinez!

It seems Arteta sees Nwaneri as a replacement for Saka and nothing else. Saka is correctly a 100% guaranteed starter in the majority of games , so where does that leave Nwaneri? I would worry about losing him.xgtdec wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 7:44 amhttps://www.football365.com/news/arsena ... a-transfer

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Rodrygo would be the wrong signing for us and I don't think he'd be a success with us.
I'd go for Gyokeres over Sesko.

@TheBottomCorna: “Arsenal are considering bringing Martinez back to the club and will consider selling Raya if the right off arrives
@reluctantnicko ( very reliable ).”

Garnacho and Nkunku sounds more like it.

It would be catastrophic to lose this boy. He’s a fabulous footballer and has a huge future. I can’t blame him for having concerns if he can’t get a game in our current side. With the possible exception of Saka, I’d put him ahead of anyone else in that front line. As you say, it’s Odegaard that he should be replacing.
Imagine being a non playing part of Lego Head’s outfit and the big boys in England and Europe come knocking. Who could blame him for fucking off?
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I'm still not convinced about raya tbh - yes he makes some very good and important saves, but keepers like him who prick around with the ball thinking that they are some type of deep lying Bergkamp level playmaker really piss me off. If we get a good offer I'd sell, but with one caveat - we simply have to sign a genuine top quality keeper then. To me you could throw a blanket over leno, martinez, ramsdale and raya cos there is fcuk all between any of them - imo all are decent keepers, but NONE are top level. Some dipstick fans went into *****-a-thon mode over martinez after he left and declared selling him a huge mistake, but unless I am mistaken leno has had the second most clean sheets in both of the last two seasons. The champs league semi showed how top class keepers make the difference in big moments of big games, and we havent had to quality keeper for years now. We have been linked with espanyol keeper for a few years now, so if he is as good as advertised, buy him as our number 1 keeper and sell raya - actually if real madrid want raya, ask them will them swap him for courtois cos he is still a top keeper
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Fcuk off - he is utter gash and a sneaky c.unt into the bargain. I would take rashford if he was going for 30m-40m and I would take mainoo if the price was right, but other than them two I wouldnt waste time buying anyone else from that club cos they are shit

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Nwaneri is 17 just gone 18 his game time will be managed. Yes he should have played a bit more imo but who knows what was happening behind the scenes fitness, knock wise etc.
I have same concerns on arteta as you all but using every stick to beat him with even when the stick is a floppy mallow is a bit tedious. That quoted site is as most sources in this thread, utter BS, like the old club call but less reliable. No sources no direct quotes and it's just the sun in digital form
Why we get het up on such BS sources is beyond me
Same for all the x rumor no one's got a clue on x.
Ornstein and romano will usually come out once it's done but there not exactly reliable either.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Id take a punt on him at 15m or so, dont care he's a *word censored* we could do with that. He can be effective and change a game. Dont think he has a high ceiling but a decent bench option, but only on the cheap, bit wouldn't touch for 40m.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Many times he has put us in trouble with directly giving the ball to the opposition or playing a hospital pass to one of our defenders.augie wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 12:45 pmI'm still not convinced about raya tbh - yes he makes some very good and important saves, but keepers like him who prick around with the ball thinking that they are some type of deep lying Bergkamp level playmaker really piss me off. Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Arteta, after we lost the 2nd leg to PSG: “Normally in any other game, you’d be 2- or 3-0 up. But again, if you want to win the Euros, the World Cup, the Champions League, you need a keeper who wins you a tie. This competition is defined in the boxes, it’s clear, and Donnarumma did it for them.”augie wrote: ↑Sun May 25, 2025 12:45 pm

I wonder if he’s starting to think the same.
