ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Are any of those any good at playing up front? I don’t think they are somehow.

You can't see him Midz.. He was 'Invisible' as in Imaginary. BUT had he been 'visible' he would be dressed as an "Estate Agent".

I wonder did our scouting dept think about looking at YouTube or tiktok for all these players we're apparently interested in :rubchin:

Really leave a lot to be desired. I think we should have scouted someone decent. A bit like City did with Alvarez. Surely there are better strikers out there than Gyokeres and Sesko.

Joking aside, if we sign Sesko for £92.5m we must need our fucking heads tested. He'll make Pepe look like a bargain

Lightweight, not experienced enough

I mean why sign Gyokeres for £55m when you can have the lightweight, shite option for almost double eh?

The fact we are going for the two players touted as available strikers shows how poor our scouting is. We should be signing the likes of Lautaro Martinez, Delap or some gem from South America. Even Ajax tend to unearth the likes of Luis Suarez. We are going to have our trousers down this Summer.

If we sign him for that sort of package, which is being reported, then it goes way beyond bonkers. He's scored 27 goals in two seasons (I'm assuming that's league goals), so if the best he can manage in the German league is 13.5 per season, then he'll do well to hit double figures in the PL.

Some are saying that it's a farmer's league in Portugal, but at least Gyokeres is scoring bundles of goals in it. Sesko has a poor return in a league that's weaker than the Premiership.

I'm not a particular advocate for either, but from the little I've seen, Gyokeres is head and shoulders the better player. He can't do any more than bang in goals in whichever league he's playing and he's doing that.

Signing Sesko keeps Havertz well in the picture, so it ticks Lego Head's box.

He has a release cause around 60ish apparently so would be an achievement to pay 92 for him!!

Fair enough Rodders, but he scored 54 goals, 39 of which were in the league. The next best was 19 league goals, so not everyone is tearing it up over there.

Sesko managed 13 league goals and you take the top 3 or 4 out of the Bundesliga and there's fuck all left.

Haven't seen enough of either of these two and I think everyone on here has reservations, but from what I've seen, Gyokeres is much the better option. At least he's scoring bundles in the league he's in and he can't do more than that.

If we sign Sesko and the likes of Chelsea sign Gyokeres, we'll have plenty of time to make a comparison. :(

You have more confidence in our lot than I have. Their previous performances make it perfectly possible that they'll do something spectacularly stupid.

92m quoted, is inclusive of fee ,wages ,add ons and probably agent fees, there all factors in the price or do we not pay him any wages while he's here

Oh turn it up mcd none of us are factoring that in!

We seeing the 92m as the headline transfer fee, as Steveo mentioned the 55m for gyks...or is that all in?!
