Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
We got that Sterling deal done quickly though didn’t we?

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I honestly don't know how or why anyone believes it anymore mate. I remember falling out with many an AKB on here about ten years ago when supposedly all these new commercial deals were being done and the stadium debt was eroded, and there was all this war chest talk. I think the club actually announced that barring Messi and Ronaldo we could basically sign anyone. We still signed mostly last minute sub standard shite and fiddled around in the loan market. Now all these analysts are saying we could spend 200m and still operate within the irrelevant FFP rules....but guess what. We still won't. People say Chelsea wait for our move in the market and nick players from us, I reckon the opposite is true - we wait for them to sign players so we can sign on loan the shit they no longer needTeeCee wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 5:57 amSomewhat ironic that Utd look like getting Mbuemo, that would mean they will have signed two of the best performing attacking midfielders in the PL last season whilst it's being reported that Arsenal are still talking internally about their targets.![]()
So much for the bullshit statements from Arsenal management about 'we are all aligned on what we want and need'. I bet they're arguing about who to sign.
Every PL team who qualified for the CL are looking for a striker apart from Man City so we need to act quickly. If we want Gyokeres, there's a release clause, pay it. If we want Sesko, there's a release clause, pay it!
Arsenal are fucking slow in everything they do apart from putting up ticket prices!!

Possible Real Madrid will step in and scupper the deal...Red Army 2 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 6:09 amwhen they do identify a target.....everyone knows and we either loose out....or just wont pay what the seller wants....TeeCee wrote: ↑Tue Jun 03, 2025 5:57 amSomewhat ironic that Utd look like getting Mbuemo, that would mean they will have signed two of the best performing attacking midfielders in the PL last season whilst it's being reported that Arsenal are still talking internally about their targets.![]()

Talking about Leroy Sane now........coming up on a free. Sounds perfect. If they're free, take them....whether we need them or not. On a massive salary of course.
Other clubs make announcements about who they've signed, we make announcements about who we're looking at.........for months on end, before a last minute trolley dash for somebody nobody has heard of.Every single year is the same.

Parties discussing a salary pushing €10m, and release clause could increase should a deal be agreed. Not yet a guarantee.
Suitors like Arsenal and Chelsea see value in Williams’ current €58m clause, and he remains on their radar, but overall cost of the transfer (wage and agent fees) make it expensive.
Athletic Bilbao hoping they can tie Williams down before any offers arrive.

False economy is what we are good at. Save a few quid but it costs us £100m. Literally zero logic to most of our transfer dealings. We do the bare minimum and almost guarantee ourselves to come up short.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
No c.unt can make a decision!! FFS, it's between 2 strikers, who we will have a ton of data on, which has been analysed down to which side their cocks hang. Make a decision fucktards!!!■ Leadership group has debated merits of Gyokeres & Sesko

I'll tell you what will happen, the transfer window is open till 10th June, our management team will still be discussing the best striker for us..........then the window closes until the club world cup of shite completes. Either Haaland or Marmoush will be injured during the CWC and as soon as the window opens, City will buy Sesko for 80m. We will then panic and call Sporting and offer 55m for Gyokeres, Chelsea will also be on the phone and will offer 70m. We will be left looking at a market with no decent strikers and we'll pay Sané 350k a week to get him as our main attacker next season, along with 30 yo Ollie Watkins who Villa will rape us for 48m because we are desperate.
It's all very predictable!

It's nailed on that we'll end up with Leroy 'my knees don't work' Sane as our left winger.
First game of the season he's going to run about three foot and his ACL will snap quicker than a fat bird's knicker elastic, and he'll be out for the next seven years.

So when we do indeed end up with One decent(ish) player and all the Cast Off's from the Chad's, Manure, Cheaty etc etc He can then give some excuses/s about it being 'Competitive Market' and all that Utter Bollocks.... Meanwhile the Krankies can (Try and) make it look like they have invested huge amounts and backed him all the while knowing it is a False Economy and so the New Tourists Fanbase can Ooooh! and Aaaah! at the one Decent(ish) signing and the other Fodder... (*)
(*) It's exactly the same format they used with Declan Rice (A most excellent signing IMO) But then to sign Havertz and then take the Fat Dwarf on loan...
They are already dragging their heels with Gyokeres, Sesko, and any of the other Bullshit signings we have been linked to.. If they Genuinely and Seriously wanted a Player ... Then Stump Up the Cash and get him signed...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Andrea Berta has all the information regarding the release clause, payment structures, etc. So far, Arsenal are the only club in direct contact with Leipzig.
Manchester United have shown interest in the player, but have not yet made contact with Leipzig. #MUFC
