We battered psv 7-1 away and still played the likes of rice and gabriel in the return leg, and then are amazed a few weeks later when gabriel gets an injury that rules him out for rest of the season Henry spoke in that podcast about the amount of muscle injuries we get every season in comparison to other clubs, and over playing the same players is certainly a huge factor, but what training they are doing must also be called into question

Long 10 month season factor in they all play internationals but you give them mins when they really are not needed, put on youngsters. Heaven came on 80th min he's now at Man United turned down a contract with us. It's head scratching management of mins.

The Old Fraud used to do this, especially in European games.

He would start with players who would normally be on the bench, then in the 70th minute bring on the normal starters. Made no sense at all and Diet Pep appears to be morphing into Wenger each passing week
