If PSG are on the beach, Spurs will still be underwater.

The whole point of the new Champions League is to get as many top teams in it as possible.
UEFA will be delighted that 6 PL teams will be it next season.

Likely to be the way for the foreseeable future - or until it is expanded yet further
Top teams? Like Scum???

I suspect that it will be only four next season unless Palace or Villa win Europa League and/or Arsenal/Victims*/Cheaty/Chelsea/Barcodes win European Cup and finish outside top 5. It is possible for a country to have seven teams in European Cup.

Agree, it won't be long before England get 8 clubs every season and they play 12 games in a Swiss League to get rid of 16 out of 64 teams, the rest going into the knock out stages. Money talks.

PSG have proved that you only have to be in top 24 to win this tournament, so expect sides to take the group stages less seriously. Twelve points will do. 3 wins and 3 draws.

Sensible managers like Enrique will do this as they know it doesn't matter one fuck..Our ringpiece however will continue to go full strength in all the group games cos he's an arsepiece and never ever learns from his mistakes..Never ever..and he won't be told by anyone.

Full strength in our group games ?? We battered psv 7-1 away and still played the likes of rice and gabriel in the return leg, and then are amazed a few weeks later when gabriel gets an injury that rules him out for rest of the season   :banghead: :banghead: Henry spoke in that podcast about the amount of muscle injuries we get every season in comparison to other clubs, and over playing the same players is certainly a huge factor, but what training they are doing must also be called into question

Totally agree. Arsenal won 4 and drew 4 after CL games and were 6 points behind Victims* who had a game in hand at end January. Would Havertz, Saka and Gabriel not got injured if they played less? All muscular injuries which is indicative of over playing. Had the squad been used more up to that point, perhaps Arsenal would have been at full strength from February onwards.

I've said it on here before, but these weren't just slight muscle pulls, but full on muscle tears which required surgery.

Muscle pulls can happen, but to have a number of these big injuries is worrying. Wasn't it mentioned that when Havertz did his he was giving it full beans at the Dubai training camp? Sounds like a combination of overplayed and Diet Pep running them into the ground in training

Games like Preston away league cup we won 3-0. I just don't get why you would make the following subs.

2-0 up at HT he puts on Partey and Havertz, who scores 57th min then 60m in puts on Saka at 3-0.

Long 10 month season factor in they all play internationals but you give them mins when they really are not needed, put on youngsters. Heaven came on 80th min he's now at Man United turned down a contract with us. It's head scratching management of mins.

A lot of his substitutions were totally baffling....no logic in them at all

The Old Fraud used to do this, especially in European games.

He would start with players who would normally be on the bench, then in the 70th minute  bring on the normal starters. Made no sense at all and Diet Pep appears to be morphing into Wenger each passing week

Some goals even though they're Off-side should be allowed to stand just for their sheers inventiveness and excellence... Spains Free-kick & (dis-allowed) goal was a thing of Beauty...

Merino playing alongside Zubimendi... I hope he has a word to convince him to join Arsenal!
