We have (or should have) different standards and expectations than that lot do, and winning any trophy should be viewed as success for them, and throw in champions league football on top of that and they should be ecstatic. We however should expecting to be competing for every single major trophy and being viewed as perpetual bottle jobs whilst not even getting to a domestic cup final should not be viewed as acceptable but it seems to be. Our standards and expectations have dropped big time - partially cos of the senile french cock, but also cos of the influx of modern cock fans who cant see the wood for the trees anymore. I’m really confused mate. Your post quite clearly was making the point that Spurs’ standards are higher than our’s because they have sacked a manager for winning a trophy. Do you not see that it’s the other way round?

The trophy was won because they played against absolute total dross. In the League they got shown up week in and week out, losing 22 fucking times. But playing the likes of Bodo Glimt and Qarabag and Ferencvaros provided beatable opposition. Levy has seen what everyone else has seen. They simply dropped a level and won the weakest Europa League in its entire history. It’s the equivalent of winning the plate final in a rugby sevens tournament when every top side stayed in the actual cup competition. It basically confirms that you won the trophy being the best of the shit.

We have our issues but logically we can’t drop in to trophies like the Europa league if you think we are already not good enough.
