Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

FFS he's lost 1 game!!

Talk about knee jerk.

I am no fan of England...suppose a bit more interest in not actively wanting us to lose given all the rival clubs players to ambivalence now there are 3 of ours in the side again.

But massive overreaction.

This forum needs a good slap! We are prone to hysteria on everything!
Bit ironic that. Given that one person said something about sacking whoever is Ingerland manager. The rest of us give zero fucks!
I meant rob on this thread, and various others on the transfer thread wetting themselves over no signings, and retro who I agree with 90% of time (although wish he would stop grooming me that's obgs job  ) on the Europa league thread.

The forum has a case of mass hysteria!

And to be clear I give 0 fucks about England but to say he needs sacking after 1 loss and 3 games is a tad premature!

Not that I care.

Honest....

:( Hmmmm, I can only award you an A-.

An A is 95% of the time and an A+ (I believe they might call it an A* these days) requires 100% compliance. It's a sound effort and I'm not overly disappointed, but try just a little bit harder and you can improve your rating.

To be honest, I wasn't aware of my hysteria over the scum's Europa win. Pissed off, because I knew how much it meant to them and how they'd crow, but that's it. As I said at the time, I don't want them to win a donated box of stale chocolates in the church raffle.

Indeed and that is only marginally more perplexing than people watching actual qualifiers.

Cracking player. I was going to say we got rid of him far too early, but if he'd stayed with us he'd be minus a foot now, not still playing. It's a miracle that he ever came back from the mess our medics left him in.

Loved him as a player. Such technique, range of passes, and a superb finish too. Sad the way it ended for him with us. He should have won more big trophies.

All set for the club World Cup ?

I predict that this event will become huge and the biggest competition in football within 20 years.

Absolutely fantastic player who was light years ahead of other midfielders in the league at the time. He had the whole package plus the emotional and professional intelligence. Looking back, he's up there with Bergkamp in terms of technical ability and reading of the game. It's sad to think that while Bergkamp had Wright or Anelka or Henry or Wiltord or Kanu or Pires to play perfect passes to, Cazorla had Sanogo or at best, Podolski on the wing for 20 minutes. Fucking shameful.
