Another left back could be incoming

https://www.msn.com/en-ie/sports/footba ... e81e&ei=15

Tbf I would be on board with this as a young player very highly rated and we could move lewis-skelly into midfield, and use the zubimendi money to bring in eze 8)

🚨 || The base fee #Arsenal🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 have proposed to #SportingCP🇵🇹 was below €60m, but rose above that number with bonuses etc. Sporting value Viktor #Gyökeres🇸🇪 at €80m (£68m) talks will continue [Via Bruno Andrade, @MaisFutebol].

Ac Milan contacted Arsenal around 2/3 weeks ago to understand the situation of Oleksandr Zinchenko. They were told two other clubs were in the mix.

The message from Andrea Berta is clear. Pay a respectable sum or leave the room.

The situation remains fluid.

A complete total utter catastrophe of a summer transfer window without a single solitary signing

I was expecting signings the moment the window opened

5th place finish I think behind Liverpool City Chelsea and whoever buys gyokores :x
Why, we never do that. We speculate, pontificate and send out tentative, lowball bids that immediately get rejected. As we dawdle along eyeing these key players we'll pick up 2 unknowns, a left back and a keeper, one for 10m, the other on a free. Then as the window draws to a close, the guy we were originally after has been sold to a rival or his asking price has gone from 70m to over 100. In the end, they'll re-sell Havertz to us fans..........

With the placating club statement......The fans forget, just before his injury he was on target to score......he can slot in anywhere.......he needs to be given another full season up front so the fans can see what we see....... :blah: :blah: :blah: :blah:
Ignore he's a troll

Lol, from an ignoramus.

We do this every single year in the transfer market. We did it under Wenger and we are doing it under Arteta. And we never buy mid season, even if we are title contenders. Thats not trolling, those are facts you lazy moron.
We bought Reyes mid-season

It just dawned on me there a few mins ago that, with all the talk about incoming transfers, everything has gone quiet about selling any players - tbf what jogged my awareness was a piece in the metro online suggesting that zinchenko's potential move to ac milan (first I heard of it) has run into trouble cos of his wages. We are back where we were with the french cock a few years ago - loads of players that we would love to offload but who are on too much money for any interested clubs to take on, so what happens is that we end up selling them for a mars bar and a pack of peanuts  Some fans lauded our transfer windows (not last season) under the cone boy and edu, but the reality is that we bought A LOT of players who didnt last 18 months in the club, and then a lot of the rest either have already left on free transfers or are going to leave on free transfers cos that is the only way we are moving them on. That is not good business
Allegri wants zinchenko and kiwior apparently

zinchenko YES! I'll drive him to the airport for free

Kiwior.... No! He has proven since Gabriel got injured that he is a decent squad / cover for injuries player, and his game improves each time he makes an appearance (I think I might be right in saying when Gabriel got injured and we knew he would out for the season, we were all dreading Kiwior partnering Saliba, but he did okay, Not Great! but Not As Bad As Many Feared).

Don’t a few on here want Allegri as manager. Yet he wants Zinchenko, perhaps the biggest liability at the club. Go figure that one out.

If we get more for kiwor than it would cost to sign either guehi or ajax youngster, then I would def sell - kiwor has done ok tbf, but am still not convinced tbh

The only player (if there’s a chance) I care about the club betting this summer is Rodrygo. The rest, we are linked with, I’m indifferent about.

I'm only posting this cos the midget mod keeps asking me to put up links from this paper

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/35375182 ... s-ekitike/

IF true (a very big IF), it suggests that we might have to look elsewhere for a striker - given that neither are convincing, that may not be worst thing in the world   I see on another site today that Jhoan Duran might be looking for a loan move from saudi - current law in saudi says that he cant shack up with bird unless he is married to her, but in england you can pretty much bang and impregnate any bird you want (aint that right jt you pikey c.unt   )

🚨 JUST IN from @Record_Portugal:

Arsenal have submitted the first concrete offer for Viktor Gyökeres to Sporting. 🇸🇪

The offer was presented yesterday, at a meeting that took place in Menorca, Spain.🇪🇸

It was €55m + €10m in add-ons. 💰

It is set to be rejected. ❌
