You cant blame Arteta for the fixture list and neither would the board.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 10:15 ammcdowell42 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 8:11 amGuy was spot onmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 6:41 amArsenal Fixtures

Those fixtures take us to the end of September and unless we make some very significant signings this summer, then 7 points from 18 looks very possible.
Arteta could be under real pressure come October. Still, who am I trying to kid, he'll likely be under no more pressure than the Old Fraud was in 2012.

And actually your expectations for those games in the last two years has been proved to be totally wrong. Is it two seasons of not losing to a top 6 side ?Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 11:06 amshu wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 10:35 amYou cant blame Arteta for the fixture list and neither would the board.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 10:15 ammcdowell42 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 8:11 amGuy was spot onmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 6:41 amArsenal Fixtures

That sounds like building excuses in nice and early. I'm not blaming him for the fixture list, I'm just expecting him to deal with whatever games we face. Unfortunately, my expectations of the results from those games would be no different wherever they fell in the list of fixtures. Crying about the fixture list is a losers mentality and sadly it's what so many of our supporters have come to.
In my opinion, Arteta shouldn't still be at the club and no other "big" club would still have him on board after the last 5 1/2 years. Still, I'm sure you're right, the board will sit on their hands, just as they did with Wenger.
yes when they are really up for it at the begining of the season.....fuckin difficult oneOneBardGooner wrote: ↑Tue Jun 17, 2025 8:39 pmYup! Look you hate Arteta i get that , you hated wenger and no doubt you hate me too. If we were top after 6 games no doubt it would be inspite of Arteta too.
