ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Everyone who wanted Allegri as manager , he is trying to sign Zinchenko and wait for it Xhaka

Ask yourself if allegri had the transfer budget that the cone boy has at his disposal, would he be signing shite like zinchenko and xhaka ? :rubchin: The quality of players you try to sign in a transfer window is massively influenced by the funds you have available to spend, and ac milan will have a limited budget available.
I love when people try to bash a proven winner based on his current circumstances, but ignore the dipstick we have in charge who despite being financially backed more than any manager in our history, has still managed to accumulate shite like he portugese pussy, the german dud, the non scoring striker jesus and a captain that does a better disappearing act than casper the ghost
I wasn't trying to bash him it was just a throwaway remark , my views also mirror yours mostly so not sure why you are putting me in that bracket, I even defended you on She Wore when you got abused chill Augie 8)
Wait, what.... there are other forums? :duh:

🚨BREAKING: All the paperwork is complete, Martin Zubimendi is officially an Arsenal player, as per @FabrizioRomano.

The Spanish midfielder is the first signing of the summer. Kepa will be next.
About time, a bit of a nothing signing to be honest. He's not exactly Wirtz
He's a defensive midfielder, Wirtz is an attacking midfielder, chalk and cheese

You should know better than to bite Mc
Was talking about the stature of the signing actually

Boyhood club Bournemouth ??? He fcuking joined them in august 2022 and it's debateable if the brazilian had even heard of them prior to signing for them ffs    Where the fcuk do Metro get their journalists ??

So the Times are suggesting that the Sesko deal won't be announced until Beginning July as well because the player is on holiday and Arsenal don't want to have to pay wages whilst he is on holibobs

Two more Basques. There’s a definite theme developing.

Give it another year or so and Arteta will replace our nickname of The Gunners with “ETA”.

Newspapers need a new story every day of the week, SSN news one every hour and the internet needs one every minute.

The net result is an ocean of shit.

Might as well just hand the title to the mousers!
Getting all their business done and dusted!
We'll be 9-12 points adrift by october if not earlier!
Any enthusiasm I had mustered for next season has already been quashed!

So looks like apart from Zubamendi (DMC), the other deals nearest being done are for Kepa (GK) and Hato (DF).

Does Arteta even do forwards?!.

We need at least 3 on top of these assuming Partey leaves, otherwise we'll be playing players into torn hamstrings again next season.
