ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

With all the toxicity that rears its head over our constant signing of Chelsea rejects, none of which ever work out, it now looks as though we’ll be signing two this summer. It’s as though our club always want to rub our noses in it and the more we complain, the more they’ll do it.

Even though I don’t rate Kepa, I can accept signing him, given the fee and that he’s second string.

As for Madueke, on what planet does it make any fucking sense?? From the little I’ve seen of him…and it’s not much…he seems like a headless chicken and has done nothing to make me think he’s a bloke we need. In fact, just looked him up on Wiki and in his 5 seasons in the first team at PSV and Chelsea, he’s made 118 appearances and they’re clearly not all as a starter. He scores something like 1 every 5 games.

So tell me, in an average of 20 odd appearances every season (many of which seem to be off the bench) what exactly has Lego Head seen that he thinks we need?! Still, he saw something in Havertz that no one else had ever seen…trouble is, we’ve still never fucking seen it.

I can only hope this Nwaneri rumour is wrong, but if he signs Madueke and sells Nwaneri to Chelsea, or to anyone tbh, then he’ll need sacking immediately. Even if we keep Nwaneri, he’ll be behind Madueke in the pecking order. As others have said, if Arteta does this, then the boy needs to leave for the good of his career. They’ll be lining up to buy him and we’ll be waving goodbye to a talent that could go to the very top.
My fear is hes going to use the chav reject as a false 9 in the middle.....and we dont sign a striker....hope im wrong

That would be typical arteta.....the novice with a severe complex to prove he can transform players....the name sterling should be enough to prove he cannot judge a player....or trusted to sign what we need

Madueke as a backup option, in addition to Eze or Rodrygo (or another) and keep Nwaneri, maybe more of an Odegaard role is his future?.

That I'm ok with, anything else... fck no!.

Everything moves slow around Arsenal, still haven't even announced Zubi or Norgaard ffs.

At this rate we'll still be haggling over the striker on deadline day (2026!!).

Madueke for £50m. Nwaneri for £30 plus add ons. We are going to have to top up the swap deal with cash.

The horrible thing is that the fan base will still defend arteta.

They'll call Nwaneri a trouble maker.

The club is completely fucked now anyway

The mentality of the club has never really changed. We're never prepared to take the steps we need to take in order to achieve success and then truly dominate. One big money signing every decade then a procession of average players brought in who aren't good enough when it matters. It will never change.

I dont think it really matters who comes in, the reality we face is that Ohdeargod and Havertz are the first 2 names on the team sheet when fit, This means we start each game essentially with 9 men. Add to that the tactical ineptitude of the Muppet in the dug out and you could hand him the invincibles and he'd win nothing.

I dont have 30 years in football but im willing to state that theres no trophies being won with a team that includes those 2 as starters.

As has been repeated on here, Arteta shouldnt have been given a dime, he should have been shown the door and a real manager hired. Instead the clueless board are indulging him just like the endulged wonga and the result is going to be the same....bare trophy cabinet and a poisonous home atmosphere.

you reap what you sow, the season ticket money is in so the scam has been repeated for this year........dont you worry, massive warchest being opened for 26/27!!

🚨❤️🤍 Understand Arsenal are set to send opening bid for Noni Madueke after agreement with the player on personal terms.

Told Madueke has committed to a five year deal valid until June 2030, already approved by the player’s camp. - @FabrizioRomano
