Midz, totally agree with you. Havertz would have scuffed most of them, at least Vik stuck his laces through them.

As for bad keepers and defenders, we’ve got plenty of those in the Premier League too so he should score plenty for us.

Given a choice of either Sesko or Vik I was always on team Vik, so hopefully my blind optimism pays off.

For the past few months we have been linked with wingers like rodrygo (brazil and real madrid star) and nico williams (over-rated imo but has delivered for spain and bilboa) and eze (palace cup winner and england starter now too), and after all that it looks like the winger we will actually be getting is a cast off from the chavs - it's a bit like but doing that you are getting a new outfit or suit from one of the top designer brands only to then find out that you are getting clothes from primark or some second hand shop I seen somewhere earlier where the mongs from aftv ran a poll among the clipes that watch that shite, and 82% of them OPPOSED signing the chav reject - I would have thought that the majority of mongs watching their crap would be pro the cone boy and pro the club and believe in all the shite the club are selling them, so I have to say that surprises me. The fat guy hosting it apparently asked if the club would or should heed the feeling of the fans on this transfer - I would say they def should but wont. Fans are way beyond the point of pissed off at buying rejects from that shit hole club, and the backlash on this deal could be severe if he and the team dont start the season well. The chavs bought this guy for £30m a few seasons ago, and after being there a few seasons and not doing enough to be a first team starter for them they now expect to get £50m for him - how the fcuk does that work then ?? What absolute imbecile is running our transfer business department that would sign off on this deal ? We continue to fund the chavs rebuilding project and thus helping them avoid ffp issues - is there another club in world football that would knowingly help a rival like this ?? If you were buying a player from them for less than he was worth thus taking advantage of their need to sell then MAYBE you could justify it, but we are apparently giving them a £20m profit on a player that they deem to be not good enough

Yesterday there were rumours that we are interested in xavi simons (dutch player) who also plays for them, but the suggestion was that they will be looking for £70m for him - a month ago I read or watched a piece (not related to Arsenal) that stated that there were serious issues between simons and the board at leipzig and that they were going to offload him cheap, and now that we are linked the price suddenly jumps up to £70m ??? They can fcuk right off with that - simons is a very good young attacking midfielder but apparently with a shitload of baggage. He was with barca as a kid (played in an under 14 tournament in Dublin hosted by the club that my youngest played for briefly (St Kevin's Boys), and when my lad joined them two years after that tournament, the parents and coaches were still talking about xavi simons

I was thinking exactly this….they paid around 30m for Madueke and he hasn’t made it, so they want to off-load him, but seem to think his value has increased to 50m.

As fucking ridiculous as that is, the more ridiculous…and unforgivable….thing, would be if we were to pay it!

We shouldn’t be signing him regardless of the fee, but to pay anything other than less than the chavs paid would be criminally insane.
