🚨🔴⚪️ Understand Arsenal have made progress in the recent days for Ethan Nwaneri’s new deal.

The club has presented vision/project for Nwaneri in the upcoming years including discussions on game time.

Arsenal hopeful to get green light and sign new contract soon. ⏳
Interestingly, he isn’t listed on the .com under the first team squad listing. The only player not to be in there. Curious…. 🤔

🚨Former Arsenal assistant coach Carlos Cuesta, now head coach at Parma, is keen on signing Gunners midfielder Fabio Vieira this summer.

Arsenal are holding out for £20million, with a sell-on clause. FC Porto are also interested but can’t reach that figure as it stands.
I wouldn't pay 20m for him. What is interesting is that we pay whatever a club is asking (except if it is someone we desperately need) but can never sell somebody without weeks of haggling. Probably because the one's we are trying to unload are so much worse than when we bought them.

I'm waiting for the club to tell us that after careful consideration they have realized that we do not need a striker after all.

And that Havertz is breaking all the metrics on the training ground

Think we paid around £34million for him, another weird signing, never going to make it in premier league, you coulld see it after just a couple of games, does arteta know him is he a friend of the family? just cant think of another reason why he would pay that money

So we paid 34m for Vieira 2 or 3 years ago, it hasn’t worked out and we’re prepared to offload him for 20m. That makes sense (apart from buying him for 34m in the first place of course).

Chelsea pay 30m for Madueke 2 or 3 years ago, it hasn’t worked out and they want to offload him, but we’re prepared to pay 52m for him.

Work that one out.

🚨⚠️ Sporting president Varandas on Gyökeres not showing up for pre-season: “If they don't want to pay Viktor's fair market value, we're very comfortable with that for the next three years”.

“This strategy is also making it more complicated for the player to leave. Nobody is above the interests of the club. Whoever they are”.

“We're calm. Everything will be resolved with the market closing, a hefty fine and an apology to the group”.

Frederico Varandas, Sporting President:

“If the geniuses who devise this strategy think it will pressure me to facilitate his departure, they are not only mistaken but also making things more complicated for the player. No one is above the club's interest.”

Arsenal transfer target Viktor Gyokeres will face disciplinary proceedings at Sporting CP after he failed to turn up to training today 🇵🇹

I don't think you can compare Madueke with Fab Vieira fellas! Madueke scored more goals in the PL last season than any Arsenal player apart from Havertz..... Who also scored 9.

He is a good player but because he's a chav c.unt everyone loses their shit. If he's the only forward player we sign then heads should roll but if we happen to sign Gyokeres and Eze as well as getting a new contract for Ethan then it's a decent bit of business.
Decent PL midfielders are now going for 50m plus, it's the market. Kudus got 6 goals last season, sold for 55m , Gibbs White 7 goals - 60m..... It goes on. Madueke is 48m for a 23 yo, give the guy a chance.

BBC Sport:

"Arsenal have made progress in discussions with 18-year-old English midfielder Ethan Nwaneri over a new contract"

I should fucking hope so.

Has he done well enough to justify the chavs making a £20m profit on him ? I certainly dont think so. Why are we helping that cesspool club dig their way out of financial mess ? How stupid will we look if they use our £52m to buy rodrygo ? Also for the record the chav reject is a right winger - we need a left winger :? If we buy eze to play centrally and if (as some claim) the chav reject is back up to saka, then where the fcuk does that leave nwanieri ??? As I said earlier in the week, if we were taking advantage of the chavs FFP crisis to get a bargain then I could maybe justify signing this guy, but the reality is that there is zero redeeming aspects of this transfer, and as a Gooner I am sick to my nuts of buying their cast offs when not one of the previous 6 can be classed a success

I don't care if wingers of similar ability are fetching 50 million. A Martinelli upgrade is not our top priority right now, and more to the point I am not convinced he IS an upgrade.

Meanwhile we are arguing the toss about 5 million for Gyokeres.

And yes, the mere fact he is another from the Chavs is enough to make me hate the idea. If you had had 10 dodgy kebabs from the same place would you risk buying another one from there even if you were hungry?

The comparison isn’t concerning the quality or otherwise of the players, it the fact that both clubs have decided that the player, after being around for 2-3 yrs, isn’t what they want and want to off-load them.

However, we are looking to take a 40% hit on the price we paid for Vieira, while Chelsea have made a 60+% profit. It’s complete lunacy that we would pay that for a bloke they want rid of. If he were that good a player, they’d keep him. If he’s not good enough for Chelsea, then he shouldn’t be good enough for us.

And yes, we’re also losing our shit because it’s the chavs and I should think so. Giving them a healthy profit on a reject is bad enough, but the history of signing their duds isn’t exactly encouraging.

Arteta needs sacking. Useless, arrogant fucker.

Eberechi Eze is not involved in Crystal Palace’s friendly vs Millwall today. ❌
One to watch closely… with Arsenal still interested.

Never a friendly between those two !. Eberechi Eze would be very handy. :barscarf: :barscarf:

The guy can swing his dick around all he likes and do the pretend tough guy routine and make out like they’re all nice and calm but the fact is he’s absolutely fucked here.

They’ve reneged on the deal they made with the player last summer and he’s now told them to fucking stick it. Their biggest asset has downed tools, nobody believes they’re going to keep him there next season.

Billy Big Balls needs to quieten the fuck down so I can give him a little pat on the head and call him a good little boy.

Apparently their president has done this b4,Pedro Porra was promised something similar when spurs tried to sign him a few yrs ago, allegedly there was a gentleman agreement tht he could leave at a certain price, but when spurs made the offer he renegaded on it ,eventually he caved in on the the last day of the January transfer window
