Arsenal still hold a genuine interest in Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, Newcastle’s Antony Gordon and Milan’s Rafael Leão, but a move for any of the left-sided trio will require either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli depart.

As against signing the chav reject as I am, if you are telling me that he isnt being signed for the right wing and is actually going to be saka's back up, then I will go into full meltdown mode if nwanieri is getting screwed by his arrival

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Cmon Arsenal, sign Eze before he goes elsewhere
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Bayern being heavily linked with him this evening - I dont care who we have bought or who else we end up buying cos for me the success or failure of this window comes down to whether we sign Eze or not. Sign Eze and play him in the 10 and our front line will fire on a historic level, but fail to sign him or have him as back up to captain invisible, and watch us continue with slow build up play and be easy to defend against

For months I have stated the need to sign Eze as an instant upgrade on the disappearing captain so I'm not say Nwanieri is ready to step into such a key position in the team every week, but he should absolutely be back up to saka and eze too, and if we are still in for a right winger then it tells me that the chav reject isnt viewed as a right winger

Not quite over the line yet

Negotiations between Arsenal and Sporting remain ongoing in London with all parties involved.
After commission reduced by agent plus €63.5m fee ready, Sporting ask for €10m add-ons to be easy/guaranteed.
Arsenal and agents remain in talks to get the final green light.

Saw that about Bayern and It worried me because if they want him, they'll just slap the cash down and he'll be gone. they won't be bickering over a few quid or trying to haggle. Cmon Arsenal, get yer finger out on this one, please.augie wrote: ↑Mon Jul 14, 2025 7:58 pm

Set all our other transfer dealings against the speed with which we agreed 52m for a Chelsea reject who cost them 30m two years ago.
Bonkers. Makes absolutely no sense.

Arsenal remain very active in the Eberechi Eze deal. The club are even willing to pay the release clause, but to stay within Financial Fair Play rules, Berta and the board are working hard to structure a multi-payment agreement. Work is ongoing to get the deal done.

Heavily linked with Bayern
,I've only seen 1 rumour linking him with them and that was last week ,seen nothing since ,unless I'm looking for rumours in the wrong place.
