Re: Adidas New Kit Sponsor (NSFW)
I remember when Arsenal decided to swap over to Adidas as their Kit Designer / Maker a couple of seasons back and their First Offering was Very Good (I think?)
But since then they have been Shit.
I just took a Quick Look on Arsenal.Com to see if there was any news on the 2nd & 3rd Kits seeing as the Third Kit has been 'leaked'..
and some of the New Stuff (Fashion & Street Wear) and the usual Pre-match stuff are truly horrendous. For instance:

The model used in that leaked photo is a regular they use on .Com... So I can only assume it is Genuine. If so why the fuck are we going anywhere near a White Shirt!?
And of course the wimmin's players are all over the place... WHY? They can't even play the fuckin' game...
The club has gone to the Dogs

Picture the scene: One of the AFTV tossers is outside the Armoury on the day the Third (Turd?) Kit goes on sale, he has got a microphone in his hand and his colleague is there to film Everything.
The camera pans to the first 'Customer' in the queue... said AFTV tosser places the microphone at the ready and says to the camera person "Action"...He then asks the 'Fan' at the head of the queue "Mr Retro, in twenty words or less can you please tell us why? You 'like' the third kit and your reasons for doing so; Especially as it appears to be a White Shirt the very same colour as our Mortal Enema's "Ooops! Sorry viewers..... Our Mortal and Sworn Enemies from The Swamp Up The Road?"
The camera Zooms in on Mr Retro:

Tradition.
I’ve said before on here that we traditionally had a white away kit and I don’t think anyone believed me. Just found this link online.
Have a scroll through and you’ll see that until the late 60s, our most common change strip was white.
I’ve never liked the yellow, even though it was the kit I grew up with. Always find yellow a weak colour for a sports team. Not masculine enough and suggestive of cowardice.
Btw, I doubt any of the mugs on AFTV would have a clue that historically we had a white kit.

Oh and that wasn’t a passive-aggressive way of suggesting that any of the chaps on here are mugs…..

I believed you and was aware of it. Nearly all the clubs that had red or blue jerseys had a white away jersey at times historically.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Tue Jul 15, 2025 8:06 pmhttps://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Arsena ... -kits.html

For me, the yellow away is reminiscent of the great 71 and 79 FA Cup wins and the 71 Double.
Also, I'll raise your yellow for cowardice with a white for surrender!

But personally, I just can't get past the fact it's the scum's colour.

Red & White
Yellow & Blue
Arsenal & Adidas, that's all we ask of you....
Obviously the club decides the colour, but why white. ? There was a blue away kit in the 60s that looked good...I hated the black one last season. It actually crossed my mind if we reached and subsequently won the Champions League Final it could possibly have happened in that kit..Imagine that in your history books?. However Yellow shirts and Blue shorts are iconic...Played four finals in three seasons in yellow and blue between 1978 and 1980.

Exactly BWK...
It would be a Good PR Move for the Club to actually consult the Fans... do a Poll/Questionaire..
Preferred Colours for the 1st/Home Kit ?
Preferred Colours for 2nd/Away Kit ?
Preferred Colours for the 3rd Cup Competitions Kit ?
As Einstein once said "It's not rocket science!"
Edit: They did an interview with the Designer who did the Black Kit for last Season AFTER it had been Decided and Announced and he was NOT a Gooner, in fact had No Connection with the Club etc, just that he was African / Jamaican and because Arsenal were trying to be 'Right On'

I like the yellow and blue away. I don't mind the blue lightning away short tbh.
Bit I really like the dark green and blue away...
