ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Reckon we're going to have to sell b4 we buy anyone else, and tht won't be easy as no one seems to want any of our players that we want to get rid of ,Eze won't wait around too long for that to happen

Eze would make it one of the best windows in years. Just hope the club have it in them to go one step further regardless of sales.
I concur. :D

This is another big gripe with signing the chav reject - if you have done all the high importance buying that you needed to do, and still had £50m sitting in the kitty at that stage, THEN maybe you could justify taking a chance on a player like the chav reject in the hope that there is a decent player in there. However to piss away money on an indulgent buy to cover the right wing position where we already have saka and nwanieri, and to leave a lack of funds for eze and the left wing position, it borders on negligent or criminal mismanagement. I have long had an issue with the cone boys willful wasting of money, and it seems that if the players are nice lads who want rock the boat (zinchenko for example), then he wont be bothered about moving them on to reinvest in the team - if however they start to express opinions that he dont like, then the cone boy will have them out the door in a blink of an eye

Agreed I have reservations over if gykores can do it in this league but all our linked strikers same.

He should be able to score 20. Major concern is ohdeagard as the creative fulcrum. Maybe having a proper striker up front will help him and he will move it quicker...fingers crossed...if he carries on as is it's a major weakness.

Id rather eze than rodrygo. I don't think rodrygo would cut it in pl

Bit concerned no announcement in nwaneri yet despite reports saying it was done last week

If that happens and we get gykores and an eze type over like I think I will be full of alb optimism before season starts.

Reiss Nelson training with Arsenal squad in Singapore as Fulham continue to work on deal. Talks between clubs over loan deal with a permanent element attached. Nelson into final 2 years of contract. Loan at Fulham last season curtailed by hamstring injury in December. #FFC #AFC

Everyone seems totally baffled by the chav signing....makes absolutely no sense...and how quickly the huge sum was agreed even more incredible....

Done it quick before the football regulator is shrined into law, and exposes the money laundering going on between the yank owners
