Piece of piss. Youngsters played pretty well, Saliba looked up to speed, Zinchenko shit, Norgaard solid, Benny Blanco looked a lot more mobile...... Decent warm up.

Kepa saved more penalties at the end than every other keeper we’ve had for the last 30 years combined ever did.

I'm gonna have to ban anyone using that cringey nickname for him. It's one thing having TeeCee fantasising all the time about Rice's cock and this cock and that cock, but there has to be a limit!

Seen bits of the game today so cant claim to have a definitive opinion on anything from it, but I will say that I would be concerned about a lack of pace and/or mobility from the midfielder we signed from brentford - I know there were occasions that zubimendi went backwards when he should have passed forward and alarm bells could ring over that, but the difference for me is that english football is new to zubimendi and it will take time to get up to speed, but norgaard has been a premier league player for a few years but is 31 years old and that is a concern to me.

My loyalty/preference towards homegrown players is well established by now, but I have tried to stay off the Max Dowman hype train thus far mainly because he is still too young to play for first team, and also cos too much hype is never a good thing imo - however that being said, I thought today that in his brief time on the pitch he looked like a real quality prospect 8) He was very comfortable on the ball and wasnt afraid to receive it whilst under pressure

Lastly I have a question relating to the official website which is a real head scratcher for me - how the fcuk is Nwanieri still listed as an academy player (not a first team squad player) when the portugese pussy, sambi and reiss nelson are all listed in first team squad despite being out on loan last season, and all our new signings are listed in first team squad already ? Before anyone points to his age can I add that lewis-skelly is in first team squad - it's almost as though they are holding off putting him in there in case he doesnt sign new contract, or worse again that they dont see him as a first team player
