ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Isak has a very poor injury record.
Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
I think we got the right striker , atleast he wanted to come to us for starters. Sesko never wanted Arsenal that’s clear but WTF does he want . As for Isak you won’t get three games a week out of him .

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Absolutely. He's a proper goalscorer, knows how to score goals and it's clear that he wants to be an Arsenal player. That little bit of extra determination is what makes the difference at times. We've had too many players over the last 15-20 years who have just turned up, taken the money and never really been prepared to push themselves when it was required. It was clear with a few of them that they didn't even reallty want to be here and to be fair, for the last ten-12 years of Wanker's time, I couldn't really blame them. Having a bloke that's hungry for goals and motivated to make a difference is exactly what you'd want every single time.

Agreed Red. Now we’ve got Gyokeres, if we can sign Eze, then it will have been a cracking transfer window and most of us could overlook the Madueke signing, even though it does seem to be a brainless decision.

I would have thought he would have gone for the 10, but the fact he has only wanted us and he’s walking in the door to take the number of our record goal scorer - that’s some fucking tasty stuff right there.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 10:31 amArsenal reach total agreement with Sporting Lisbon to sign Viktor Gyokeres. #SportingCP grant 27yo striker permission to travel; medical scheduled for Saturday. Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
They’re the 2 stand out things for me.
1. He only wanted us and moved heaven and earth to make it happen.
2. He’ll be aware of the discourse (I was responsible for a lot of it on here
) saying that he won’t be able to make the step up to the big leagues.
Someone like that with a point to prove is a dangerous fucking animal. He’s gonna fucking BANG baby

Sky Sports website are running a similar headline where they refer to the "iconic number 14 shirt" - I'm sorry but is that the same number 14 that feo feo was shit in for a number of years ??

To be honest, although I don't know much about him, he seems like a traditional centre forward, so I'd be telling Jesus to be making plans to fuck off as soon as he's recovered (in the 10 minutes before he's injured again) and giving the number 9 shirt to Viktor. In my world, your goalscoring centre forward wears the number 9. Won't happen of course.

Understand breakdown of the add-ons are:
- Every 20 games (45’+): €1.25m, up to a limit of €5m.
- Every 20 goal contributions: €500k, up to a limit of €1m.
- Every seasonal qualification for the #UCL league phase: €1m, up to a limit of €4m.

They were running the exact same narrative for Rashford taking 14 at Barca a couple of days ago. Apparently it’s was the ‘iconic’ number Henry wore, even though he only actually played 137 games for the whoresaugie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 1:37 pmmcdowell42 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 10:31 amArsenal reach total agreement with Sporting Lisbon to sign Viktor Gyokeres. #SportingCP grant 27yo striker permission to travel; medical scheduled for Saturday. That's exactly what I'd do too, Retro. Jesus is undeserving of such an iconic number which the 9 really is. I wouldn't even bother giving him a number, just fuck him off asap.Retro Gunner wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 1:38 pmArsenal Till I Die wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 12:41 pmI would have thought he would have gone for the 10, but the fact he has only wanted us and he’s walking in the door to take the number of our record goal scorer - that’s some fucking tasty stuff right there.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 10:31 amArsenal reach total agreement with Sporting Lisbon to sign Viktor Gyokeres. #SportingCP grant 27yo striker permission to travel; medical scheduled for Saturday.
