Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Some initial talks have now taken place with Crystal Palace, who made it clear Eze's £60m+£8m release clause would need triggering or matching.
Arsenal are now considering whether to make a bid, and try at a lower number to test that position.

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread
Arsenal has officially put the pressure on Crystal Palace.
They've met up and laid it all out on the table, giving CPFC the ultimate decision to make.
Arsenal's ready to pay in three installments for that release clause, but they’ve made it clear: if Palace doesn’t accept, they’ll just move on to other targets.
And speaking of targets, Arsenal have their eyes on Rafael Leão from AC Milan.

£203 million and more to come, hard to believe.
Signings all look like they can be a success.
Pressure on Arteta to deliver will be huge.
I doubt there has ever been a manager in plge history, with such a level of expectation going into a new season.

No place to hide for Diet Pep now Sid.
Another £200m+ spent this year, over £1bn in total

If he fails now serious questions need to be asked about his ability, although questions about his ability have always prevailed.
Failure to deliver a major trophy and he has to go, no excuses and he certainly hasn't earned the right to choose when he leaves

I still think he needs to explain why he felt he didn't need a striker despite falling short every season

Of all the potential changes the new signings can make, the biggest difference I want to see in 25/26 is our shit-houserry dialed up to 11!!Nick Nack wrote: ↑Sun Jul 27, 2025 8:51 amNo place to hide for Diet Pep now Sid.
