Purely by chance I clicked on a game of Hurling between Cork and Tipperary (on Drogon TV)... Played at Lightning Speed by utter fucking mad men with with Big Clubs in their hands whacking a ball from end to end...No wonder they wear Crash Helmets! AND the ground is fucking packed.... makes the crowds at wimmin's look like a Sunday game of 2 men and a dog! (60,000?)

I can't stand the gaelic football.
The hurling however is not only extremely physical but very skilful.
Whilst they do wear helmets (i think that only became compulsory recently, you were considered soft if you wore one ) the ball is like a cricket ball .
I think fighting is acceptable but it is considered ungentlemanly conduct to hit someone with your hurly (bat)
Love the new Everton stadium, especially how close the crowd still are to the pitch. Most stadiums including the Emirates still feel a bit distant from the action
