Don’t know much about Rodrygo other than his goals/assists output is every bit as meh as Martinelli’s.

He is playing in a team where mbappe and vini jnr are THE star players - what do you realistically expect from him ??  Tbf to him his main complaint is that he is not getting treated the same as other players on that madrid team, so he is looking for more chances

His numbers were meh ever before Mbappe joined to be fair. He’s only broken double figures for league goals once (10 goals) and that’s up against a good chunk of shit in La Liga that would make our skid mark 3 look like the Harlem Globetrotters.

Played 30 times in the league last season - 6 goals, 5 assists (Martinelli had 8 goals and 4 assist in 34 games for comparison and was widely panned for being utter gash for most of the year) .

Madrid dominate all the possession and territory in pretty much every single game they play and those numbers he’s been producing are pretty shit.

100 million for that kind of output? No thanks. We’ve already got someone producing at that level that we want rid of!

Spurs in fresh talks for Eberechi Eze, as @pokeefe1 called.

Spurs had decided not to move earlier in the window, but James Maddison’s injury means the Palace attacker is now a genuine target. #AFC still hold an interest.

No bid to Palace as of Monday evening.🦅

I’m not convinced. His goals and assists stats are pretty poor

So far in this transfer window we've spent just over £200m and recovered £4.3m. Well done Arsenal, no need to ever worry about FFP.

I don't suppose you know the Rules Regarding FFP do you MIdz? I mean with regards how much a club is allowed to spend on transfers etc? I am guessing that it is a Percentage of what their income has been the previous year from Legitimate Football Sources: Gate Receipts. Monies for Trophies, the Sale of Assets (Players) etc.

OB - I think this season clubs have to abide by UEFA rules rather than just PL, so it's 70% of turnover I think.

Actually it looks like the PL have extended their rules for another year so it's 85% of income.
No-one can post losses of more than 105m over the last three years.

Arsenal are in a better position this year because the sales of ESR and Eddie etc, go into our pot this year I believe.

Not sure how the fuck man UTD can spend over 200m though, they have lost more than 300m over the last 3 years it's reported...... Work that one out!! :rubchin:

Utd aren't playing in Europe this season so dont have to a abide by EUFA financial fair play rules so only have to follow PSR ,even though they've been largely shit over the last few seasons ,they still are very attractive to big corporate sponsors, and rake in alot of money from merchandise and similar stuff, the new psr rules start this yr again for 3 yrs ,so presuming they were within the guide lines for the 3 yrs gone for them to spend the money ,where it might catch up wirh them in in the next few yrs and limit their spending then

If we sit back and watch the scum sign eze then that is me done with the club as long as the basque c.unt is in charge - a top player who wants to join us and who would be a massive upgrade and we are dragging our heels  It never made sense to me us allowing his release clause to expire - gobshites (my own son included) tried to tell me that we let it expire so we can get him cheaper, but in all my years as a footie fan I have never seen that happen - clauses are there to benefit the player so palace were never gonna lose out letting the clause expire

If we really wanted Eze we'd have him by now ,hes not a LW,Odegaard is never going to be dropped ,Ethan has just signed a new contract ,and young Dowman if he progresses like he has done so far ,the sky's the limit.Id love Eze at Arsenal but a priority is a top class out and out left winger(in saying that I've no idea of what top class left winger  )

I think the only one left available now is Lookman and he doesn't want to come to Arsenal.........he's shit anyway!

Actually there's Leao who can be great but he's inconsistent.
I think Arsenal will play Madueke on the Left and may go for a central attacker/creator so Eze could be on still but we need to sell 4 or 5 players to recoup 20m to help buy him

My opinion, you can have THE best left winger in world football, but if you are depending on captain invisible to supply him then it wont matter a shit - I accept martinelli's shortcomings, but it seems that people want to ignore the damning stat of how much of our attacks go down the right cos that is where the coward spends his time hiding, so until that changes we are always gonna to be limited in attack anyway. Stats nowadays are so easily available and every opposition team knows that closing down our right wing practically nullifies us and until we get some more balance to our attacks, then no success will be coming our way
