ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Gabriel Jesus might still have a part to play for Arsenal FC this season.

He is back training on the grass with a football! 😉 🇧🇷

⭐️EXCL⭐️ Arsenal and Crystal Palace have reached an agreement for the transfer of Eberechi Eze. Fee: £55m (£30m upfront). The 27-year-old England playmaker, hero of the 2024 FA Cup final against Man City, will join the Gunners once Palace secure his replacement. #AFC #CPFC #Transfers

Things are clear regarding the Eze deal: As I exclusively revealed, there is already an agreement between the player and the club on the transfer fee. Tottenham are also active on the case, but the player’s priority is to join the Gunners. Arsenal are simply waiting for Crystal Palace to approve the financial structure. It’s just a matter of patience now, but both clubs want to get it done quickly. #AFC #Eze #CPFC #THFC

Can't we hurry things up by selling them Odegaard??

Some lad with 9 followers on twatter presumably 8)

An hour ago I did read an article online that suggested that eze wants to join us and not the scum, which is encouraging as long as we make a bid for him

The bit where ornstein suggests that we may have cooled on eze since Nwanieri signed his new deal I can get cos a properly run club would look at talents like nwanieri and dowman and do everything possible to ensure their development continues at AFC but there is also a contradiction in play here too - signing a gyokeres over a sesko for example suggests a here and now policy (which I agree with btw), and after 5 trophyless seasons there should be a real emphasis on this season and failure should result in a change of manager, and the cone boy would do well to think of that. He can (and should imo) buy eze and nwanieri can still get plenty of game time if the team is run correctly, but that would entail sidetracking ohdeargod or havitz or trossard, and would entail resting saka in those less important games, and I dont think the cone boy has the balls to do either of those things. I would also question how signing the chav reject fits in with this theory of prioritising the developments of nwanieri and dowman

Signing this guy (and especially given the fee involved) is the biggest mystery of the transfer window....and I mean throughout the PL and Europe too. Completely senseless. Up there with signing Havertz. Almost £120m spent on sub standard chav rejects...that's without the other crap signed from them. :banghead:

really strange one...makes no sense on any level....another signing from the chavs and looks like they have strengthened
could well finish above us...why would you make a rival stronger?
must be more to it.........no coincidence we take their unwanted players .........fuckin crazy

Kingsly Coman on his way to saudi league in a £25m deal - you would have to wonder why AFC (and other clubs looking for winger) are not all over this given the low transfer fee  I'm sure the wages he is getting out there would be significant, but surely a top player would rather stay in europe with champions league club ? :rubchin:

I'm not saying he would be top of my list (or even second on it), but it is very hard to ignore a deal like that cos there is value in it

Sebastian Vidal sports journalist is the source, his tweet seems a bit positive,i find in general that some football fans cant be believing something positive as its much easier to believe something negative 😉
McD, can you put the source's name with the quote please when you post it. We have strict rules around credit and possible plagiarism etc. Cheers.

Spurs set to place an opening bid for Eberechi Eze.🦅
- Tottenham moving fast to avoid Arsenal counter.
- Optimism Eze prepared to join with personal terms not a problem.
- New push for Eze after James Maddison's ACL.

AC Milan have opened initial talks with Arsenal for Jakub Kiwior.
The Rossoneri are targeting the 25-year-old Polish defender, valued at €25–30m, to bolster their backline after Malick Thiaw’s departure. #ACMilan #AFC #Transfers

Yep that's true. 8)

Thus I did not feel the need to send rodders and Spuddy around with their "gay conversion kit".
