ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sebastian Vidal sports journalist is the source, his tweet seems a bit positive,i find in general that some football fans cant be believing something positive as its much easier to believe something negative 😉
McD, can you put the source's name with the quote please when you post it. We have strict rules around credit and possible plagiarism etc. Cheers.

❗️As exclusively revealed, Eberechi Eze’s release clause expires tomorrow, and Arsenal are aware that Tottenham plan to submit a bid before the deadline. The Gunners have been focused on offloading players to raise funds and balance the squad before making any formal approach to Crystal Palace.

We’re told Arsenal do plan to make a bid, but not immediately. There’s a feeling they may be waiting for Spurs to reach an agreement with Palace before swooping in to hijack the deal.

As Arsenal are also in talks with Rodrygo’s representatives as part of plans to strengthen the left wing. Their pursuit of Eze has no impact on their interest in Rodrygo.

If we could get both it'd be awesome. Either one would be good. neither would be very poor and stupid. Knowing our lot.......

But why on earth would Eze want to move from Palace to smaller club like the Scum? :? :D

Fuck off Rodrygo - another mercenary c.unt in the making

Another case of everyone going dizzy over a player because (a) he's Brazilian and (b) he plays for Real Madrid. So in 30 La Liga games, half of which they are guaranteed to win against absolute pubbers, he got 6 goals and 5 assists. Martinelli got 8 goals and 4 assists in 33 games, most of which aren't against pubbers

This is like Rice v Caicedo all over again - lets gaze lovingly at some exotic sounding player we know fuck all about. If a British player had stats like that and we were chasing him, everyone would be up in arms saying how average they are! Go and get Anthony Gordon from the Newcastle sinking ship - the fucker rips us to ribbons every time we play them and is stronger and far more effective for this league. Sorry to the football snobs that he isn't Brazilian or got an 'o' on the end of his name that makes him so much better

When do loan signings from Real Madrid ever work out by the way? They arrive with the thick hump, see every other club as inferior and usually stink the place out

I totally agree. I can't understand the love for Rodrygo.

Gordon would be a great signing

As Augie has stated many times, ødegaard needs to be shot out of an extra large cannon in front of a sell out crowd.

Nothing will change as long as he is in the middle

We could call him Antoine Gordono to ease the transition, although the mask would slip as soon as his head that looks like a chewed toffee comes through the door.

Money , fatuous champions league qualification, guaranteed selection ( no Maddison ) coupled with a total lack of ambition.

Wow, that is quite possibly one of the dumbest, most uninformed posts I've ever read. This thick fuck "DavidDeinfcinsider" seems to think the powers that be at Arsenal are all die hard scum hating Gooners whose main ambition is to get one up on the scum. Fucking idiot could not be more wrong. That bit of utter retarded bollocks in red is not how the club (or any club ffs) operates.

We have no intention of buying eze so get ready to stand back and watch us flounder again this season on a system built around a disappearing captain - you reap what you sow

I honestly think that some of the fucking stupidest people on the planet are the ones who write 'Transfer Exclusives" on Twitter. It doesn't matter how many times the people in football say that 99.9% of the rumours and stories are made up, these fucking idiots churn out more and more of the fucking shit every day which others lap up as wholly truthful. I'm sure there must be psychologists out there desperate to spend some time with these people to work out what the fuck is going on with the world.

LeftfootlegendGooner, my bad luck with women at this particular time could mean I won't need conversion therapy
