ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Tottenham to accelerate move to sign Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze within the next 48 hours. Positive developments and deal within reach but still work to be done. Eze inclusion versus Chelsea in doubt.

🚨 JUST IN from @MiguelDelaney:

Arsenal had been looking at Eberechi Eze throughout the summer.

There were mixed messages at the club, but the talk in the last 2 weeks has been that THEY'D PREFER a LEFT WINGER after making sales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ♟️

Over 10m for Zinchenko including the loan fee!

That is a fucking great result, getting rid of a shit player with 1 year left on his contract...... Also ensuring we don't have to see his fucking incompetent efforts on the pitch this season .......god I hope the deal goes through :barscarf:

No way should zinchenko, portugese pussy, sambi or any other player be allowed out on loan UNLESS it comes with compulsary purchase next summer - get whatever money we can get for the c.unts now, and get rid

It absolutely baffles me how little scrutiny the media have done with the cone boys transfer business in last 5* seasons - going into this summer he had spent almost £800m and it has started to be mentioned a few times (but not half enough), but the media seem to have totally ignored how many of those buys are no longer at the club, and the fact that the 3 I mentioned above we cant get rid of  I read a lot of comments about kroenke's only being in it for profits, but what sort of business people would continue to hand over money to a guy who has wasted so much in 5 years without questioning him on it ? By my calculations, IF we get rid of the 3 I listed above this summer, the cone boy will have signed NINETEEN players that are no longer in the club, and that is not including kiwor and trossard who might also be out the door this summer - that is absolutely fcuking criminal. The cone boy apologists argued that we made profits on players like turner and trusty (I highly doubt that btw), but they are strangely quiet on the deals that brought zinchenko and jesus to the club cos they are both big money failures imo

He reminds me of one of those Dogs that gets off its lead and invades a Saturday morning school game and the he chases / follows the ball all over the pitch, till his owner can catch him... Hence the nick-name "The Wanderer".

Eze just scored a Blinding Free Kick, only for VAR to look for an excuse to disallow it and so assist the NaziChavs... how Unusual. Why we haven't gone all out to get him signed up is beyond me... :?

All now becomes clear. The Chavs have signed an 18 year old right winger who already has five caps for Brazil and is clearly going to be a bloody world class player for 29 million plus a potential 23 million in add ons. They therefore offload Chavawanka on to us, for an immediate 48 mllion big ones plus another 4 million in add ons.

Does this club have no pride, or are we forever prepared to be their bitches in the transfer market?
