I dont know if any of you guys on here have ever watched a program called the real football factories. With that muppet danny dyer. But onone one occassion he went to a country where the supporters firm ran the club unofficailly. told the club who to buy and who to sell. And the club did this for two reasons 1 they where shit scared that the firm would go bonkers and go on a rampage. 2 They where the clubs main income for gate reciepts into the stadium. Now im not suggesting that we all go down to the emirates on a match day linch Wenger but fuck me if he needs transfer ideas he just has to have a 5 minute glance on this forum. I think the time has come for wener to be taken of his pedestil and put nicly on the board where he can still bring youngsters in to the club, but get a manager like ferguson( God forgive me) who says fuck reputations fuck budget we need that player im getting that player. done. we need that. I know wenger is looking after the clubs interests when it comes to money but i dont know why. If any of the upstairs team come out and say we have 25 million to spend , FUCK me spend it. Mr wenger you are the manager not the accountant

Apart from Ferguson(which would never happen) Who could replace Wenger and still maintain our style of football? I personally would like a Graham/Wenger High bred who can work with a budget,defence and bring in experience.
Names that spring to me are Harry Rednapp and Tony Adams. I would like to T.A come in as number 2 if Wenger wins nothing this year.

i see where your coming from and agree with most,maybe it is time for arsene to take a seat upstairs, only problem is with the current board , new manager will want new players and they would never do that, wenger has been the lifesaver of the club in that we have never spent more then we earned and kept people from moaning to much about the directors, and in fairness no other man could have done the job that wenger has done for the arsenal.

I don't know why the board can't just go for a big take over give Wenger the Budget his always deserved and see what happens. They are holding us back I don't care who owns the club as long as we are winning.

Before people start aiming for my head just let me make it clear that i have nothing against Mr Wenger as he has done more than anyone for this club. Im just so tired of reading that we are the most profitable club in the country but we dont invest it. And the only reason i mentioned old blue nose ferguson like manager is because he will tell any club who wants his players to fuck off he'd just tell them straight. What did wenger do with millan and ade HE SENT A FAX. Open yours eyes mr wenger Our team is being picked of one by one. You have the money spend it. The club will survive.

Let's give him another season and his got a month left to sign someone. I think though maybe this should be his last season and we should have a new Manager who can break balls in the baord and dressing room and does not have an obsession with young boys ( I mean players)

I am greatful but unless be can bring in experience (which you can get for free) Makelele was free , Campbell was free,Flamini on a free,

Thats how Harry does it at Pompey not afriad to bring in experience along side the youth thats what the invinceables had!

Iamthegooner, would this be the Ferguson that almost got sacked because he took his eye off the ball in a conflict with the board over a racing horse?

Arsene will spend his budget if he sees a player he wants. He won't make do, which is possibly a flaw, but he also won't put the club in danger by paying big money transfers and wages if we can't afford it. Arsene seems to believe in long term sustenability and I'm behind that.

Last summer we missed out on Ribery even though Bayern were not in the CL.How bad would it make Arsenal look if the Spuds did sign Arshavin or David Villa when they are just a mid table team>Come on Arsene its time to buy the 3 quality players we need dont wait till the 31st August like we normally do.
