As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
12 mil is a resonable amount to spend and hoyte just isn't upto arsenal standard but thankfully he is english so we would get at least 4-5 mill for him.

Scum sell their top goalscorer - Great move, going to buy some lethal replacements
We may sell out top goalscorer - oh god the end is nigh we are a selling club its all over we'll be in the Uefa cup season after next..
Have some faith guys!!!
What % of fans on this forum think that selling ade for anything over £20m-£24m is bad for the club ? I think you will find that the vast vast majority on here believe it would be a great bit of business and that they would not see that as a sign that the end is nigh In fact I think most fans have no real issues with any of the departures this summer except for the fact that we still havent replaced them(with the exception of hleb who my late granny could have easily replaced). This is the area we have fallen down in most over the last few seasons - there hasnt been enough quality recruited to replace what has left with the few notable exceptions
We may well have intent too we just decide to talk to clubs and players rather than journalists!
I think the Stadium was a good idea and much needed, I also accept that it means we will be a bit tight for a year or two and I'm comfortable with that, I don't however believe we going to drop out of the top four this season as someone suggested!
Modric is pretty good signing but then again I think Nasri is too, Dos Santos is just a poor man's Vela so we've done better there too
I don't disagree that most fans will be happy with 20+ mill for ade, (not that it will ever happen now because the fans have made is so obvious they don't like him!) but I think its a bit early to be doom mongering with a good 6-7 weeks of transfer actiivity left!
History has shown we like to wait until the end of the transfr window and we probably will again
As for Arsene knows, I concede some fans follow him blindly but he is the best manager in the world by far to take us through these tough years when we move stadium and dont forget
Sagna - unknown, voted best RB in prem
Clichy - unknown, voted best LB in prem
Cesc - Unknown - enough said
Toure - 2 mill? - great CB
Adebayor - 2 Mill? - about 30 goals and second top scorer in the prem and the highest scoring striker
Ballack - silly wages but experience
Shevenko, 30 mill silly wages and experienced
cech - experienced
cole - experienced
carvalho - experienced
alex - experienced
Anelka - Experienced
and they finished 2 points above us!!! 2 bloody points!! that can be the two points dropped at birmingham after a horrific injury when one of our best and most experienced players clichy made a stupid rookie mistake!!
Expensive and experienced players don't guarantee success and certianly dont guarantee the clubs financial future!
Yes the board aren't whiter than white and yes have made some mistakes but there are plenty of reasons to be confident! Unrest in the stands isn't going to help the team. I feel that Arsene does know more than us and especially he knows the constraints in which he is having to work
Not everything is perfect but can we at least try to look on the bright side!!
