another couple of young starlets on the books?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

another couple of young starlets on the books?

Post by Goonanana »

Arsenal are understood to have struck deals for South American starlets Angel Di Maria and Pedro Silva.

The players are going to do the same as Carlos Vela and go to Salamanca for a year, wonder if this means we'll get Carlos back before Janaury for the Carling cup

it would be nice to see Vela with us for the start of the season i thought AW was seeing about a work permit for him.

if the mancs can get Anderson one on account of a special talent why not us?

On closer examination of the squad, I couldn't agree more that all we are lacking is a couple of unproven yougsters with bags of potential who just need time to develop.

If all our young players mature in accordance with expectation, maybe we will never have to sign a big name player until 2020. AW's conveyor belt of future-stars.

Then again, if big name players come with as much attitude as Gallas, it ain't a bad thing! :)
