GENUINE YOUNG RUMOUR

Post by gus ceasar is a legend »

Whilst on holiday I saw Paul Young of Wherever I Lay My Hat fame.

When I asked him if he was joining Arsenal this season he looked sheepish and ran away from me quickly. I chased him down the road waving my bottle of white wine at him to try and get more info but he was too damn quick and sober!

I think I am onto something here..........why run and hide if there is no truth to this rumour.

Remember where you heard it first!

Good singer, met him in the 80's he was a gentleman.

I would happily have Arsenal sign him to sing at half time.

i used to live next door to eddie kidd - motorbike stuntman - in highbury. kidd's girlfriend left him for paul young. she was quite a looker from (distant) memory.

that's my paul young story. the guy could sing but the only really decent record he ever made was 'now i know what makes otis blue' - liked that one.

Speaking of Eddie Kidd, Gary Numan does stunt flying in his private plane over a village near me. He's bloody good too.
