YET ANOTHER "HE'S REACHED X00 POSTS" THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

YET ANOTHER "HE'S REACHED X00 POSTS" THREAD

Post by T.S »

Two of my favourite members of this forum are about to reach the big "three, oh, oh". So congratulations in advance to Ben-Gooner14 and Mr. Vansittart (gus ceasar is a legend). Top posting, me old muckers.

Oh, and Gus, about the picture. My brother has it somewhere but isn't too sure of its actual location, but I'm going down to his tonight to look after his young'un, so I'll have a look for it then.

Never did, but I had a good ol' chin wag with Gus about his brother (our brothers know each other) and after helping him out with the petition, I rate Ben highly.

As Arsene would put it, I consider them "super, super class" posters.

Nice. 8)

Gus is quality (Never heard that said about the original!!)

And yeah, young Ben is motivated. I like that. 8) So many young people (I was gonna write "kids" but not sure that would sit well with Ben!) are lazy and listless nowdays, it's good to see a young man with drive!!

Jaysus I have just turned into my father!!! :?

Right, off to New York via Gatwick for me. I'm doing a Jose Antonio Reyes and doing one because the weather has got too much for me. Or something.

If you see someone posting at silly o'clock, that'll probably be me...

oh god. it looks like the huge avatars are back :(

now i know you guys are not making them huge deliberately. so whatever was supposed to happen by way of restriction evidently isn't working!

now i don't want them all wiped again, so i will ask the webmaster this. when we get one of these that is a bit on the large size, we'll get the relevant member to let us have the image and we'll re-size it our end so that it doesn't f**k up the forum formatting.

fair enough?

but i'll leave this until after the weekend - have to get Gooner issue 176 to press first.

over and out

I think that's fair enough. The elaborate avatars are cool but if they're gonna f*ck up the forum then they have to go... :(

I'll just stick to my old skool jpeg avatar... 8)

actually the webmaster has been in touch to state that the moving images avatars are (now) ok - and he will enable them - as long as they can be linked to rather than uploaded (capacity issue on our server i think). the problem is the physical size on screen of the bigger avatars.

we'll get to the bottom of this eventually anyway.

check the 'stickie' or whatever it's called about avatars that now lives at the top of this part of the forum for more details

no pies where you're going young ben, only finest hand filled volauvents.

also ed. thank you for employing tact when referring to "people" using huge images, i think we all know the main culprit , sorry for screwing up the formatting, and i hope everyone likes the new avatar.
