Im still kinda gutted. I know he wasn't the Freddie of old and had lost some pace but I still think he could have been a good squad player

I think his experience would of been important for our young team, but I guess it wasnt worth his wages. Thanks for all your hard work and commitment over the years.

Freddie will be missed, shame he couldn't get himself a testimonial...

Good luck except of course, when you play for us...

Used to love watching Freddie play, scoring the goals at ease off the wing and sporting his red mohawk...

10 days after saying he wont go to another premiership club.
Is there any player with a pair of balls who doesn't need to lie about his intentions?

I thought that initially Rilo II but I think on this occasion it was a case of the club selling the player and not the player looking for a move.

I believe Ljungberg when he said about not wanting to play for another English club but if the club accepts a bid, tells you that is your only option (I would imagine West Ham with their biscuit money would pay a hell of a lot more than Fiorentina) then what are you to do?

I don't believe the likes of David Rocastle would have chosen to have left - he was sold to Leeds.

I am more concerned about who we buy than where Ljungberg goes.

To be honest, I don't mind who he goes to (although I would have prefered a team that I don't hate as I don't want to end up hating Freddy)I just don't like him players saying something which they blatently know isn't true. I'm sure if he chose an Italian club he would have been allowed.

On the brightside, at least if he stays in the Premiership I can look forward to his return to Emirates and the great reception he will get.
