Isn't if funny/ironic that the one deed that the board done in sacking DD is the deed that could bring about their downfall (at least in terms of support from the fans) ? We all know that they sacked DD cos they felt he was working behind their backs to bring kroenke into the club but if they felt by sacking him they were shutting the door on such a move then they couldn't be more wrong. A lot of fans (myself included) would be leaning towards a DD/Stan takeover because we trust DD implicitly want him back running our club but if he was still a serving member of the board trying to install an american owner would we support him in this ? Possibly not. Its true to say that you should keep your friends close but your enemies even closer and our board should have been more mindful of that. Anyway in the meantime BRING BACK DAVID DEIN

If Eccleston has not be misquoted in expressing his lack of interest in football, and going by his F1 records, the board should stick up two fingers to him ... and simply say sod off, in plain english .. LOL
