Funny thing is, my world did not fall to bits just because TH14 left Arsenal. What a dumb excuse from the fruit in the CK knickers!

He was a fine player in his time at Arsenal and knew how to score against Manure scum but Arsenal will open a new chapter.........

Freddie will always be a legend and i wish him well at the Hamsters. But can you name a player who has done well after leaving Arsenal under Wenger? Good luck Freddie i think you may need it,theres no Wenger at West Ham

Freddie must be one of the most popular players ever to wear our shirt - as rightly reflected by the comments on this thread.

But I also think this was a good bit of business for us, and a great bit of business for Freddie. It remains to be seen whether it was such a good deal for West Ham! If they'd got him on a free then maybe, but Â£3.5m, 3 year deal, Â£70k per week......???

What I don't like though is the way he has mouthed off in the press about how he felt let down by Wenger! I know he is trying to save face, but its bloody obvious we've sold him rather than he left cos he is unhappy. Why couldn't he just go gracefully and just say thank you to Arsenal, Arsene & the fans for what they've done for him after all these years......!!!

Yes. He would only be barred from playing if he went on loan. Unless you're Man Utd of course then you just bend the rules..... reference to their game at Everton last year!
