As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
OK, I got my one AS result back today in Business Studies. Although I took it one year early and I passed, I only got an E while my friends all got C's, B's and some even got A's.
I feel a bit down at the moment and just want to get out of reality and forget about that shite mark. Ofcourse I have Arsenal at the weekend to get my by but I don't to be sad and mopey for the rest of the week!
Ofcourse I'll do the norm and drink away those sorrows in the pub this Saturday so all 'Get pissed by son!!!' replies are already accounted for.
Like some of you youngens, I'm getting my GCSE (O-Level to you oldies) results next week and aren't expecting anything now after todays shitter.
Sorry for the depressing story but any suggestions would be appreciated?
Sorry to hear there not the grades you wanted, but you still passed, and i bet you go on to greater things than your friends grades dont tell you anything about a person.
I was down in the dumps yesterday and then i watched the 89 dvd and the 49 unbeaten dvd,if you've got these it helps
Got my A levels 3 years ago they were pretty shite but it didnt really worry me. Colleges/Uni will more than likely still accept you good luck 4 next week mate

If they fail just get blind drunk
Yeah but I have to take the whole course again this year which aint the bestest of things. I may just have to get 'blind drunk' as you say.

Mrs Gus (Doris) wrote:Keep your chin up....the fact that you did an AS level a year early as well as probably 10 G.C.S.E's is brilliant and you have to take credit for it.
Re take it next year if need be but be proud of yourself and I'm sure you'll pass you're G.C.S.E's with flying colours.
Now you listen to mummy Doris and have good drink on Saturday and enjoy the first game of season and as the song says ' Don't worry, be happy!!'

Well yeah, thank fuck I have The Arsenal. But I'm not too sure on my GCSES. Expect a new and much worse thread this time next week.

It all depends about future results and that isn't too likely to happen as my confidence about learning/doing exams has gone. Oh and cheers mate!
Could be a blessing in disguise mate. Take it the second time round, you will improve on the areas that you werent so good at last year. Then this time next year you will be blind drunk celebrating A*. Chin up mate, like i said grades dont make you the person you are,and anygood employer will see that.
