West Brom about to buy a centre half so would be in for Curtis. Especially as Big Clumsy Phil is being linked with Juve. Davies will probably go to Spurs mind u as they like stock piling players these days.

we would only go for him if greedy Baggies drop their £8m asking price - way over the top for a player with one season premiership experience ...Gilbert doesn't appear to be in 1st team frame so maybe he will be offloaded as well..or we could always hope and pray that we get shot of Song at last !

Alex Song is a very underated player...he could easily play in a number of positions.Charlton wanted to buy him but we did well to keep him.

don't get me started on phil bloody great lump jagielka ...could you see Cesc in the same team as him !? we need a strong & solid centre back ...not seen enough of Davies to pass comment on his ability...most impressive centre halves at our place last season were Alex - never going to happen as off to Chavski; Distin - freebie to pompey & woodgate who for some bizarre reason has swapped the delights of Madrid & la primera liga for Middlesbrough !
