Online Streaming of matches!!! Please Advise

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Online Streaming of matches!!! Please Advise

Post by Gunner4life »

Hello all

I used to watch matches on footballon.net and those guys got taken off the air.

I am in dire need to find a replacement to watch matches online and would love for suggestions.

Ofcourse something comparable to footballon would be great!!

Cheers..

Requires you to download a bit of software, but you should be able to figure it out. Let me know if you can't, though and I will gladly be of assistance. I lived over in the States for the past year, and this website saved my bloody life!

This is my method...

www.football4less.com - tells you how to download all the software, P2P streaming, PPmate, Sopcast etc.

Then use:

www.myp2p.eu

Which will give you all the fixtures.

www.premiershiplive.net is one i first used (requires subscription) but it tells you when newer versions of the software becomes availiable.

Our game tomorrow night is listed on the p2p schedule. Give it a whirl.

Yeah course you can. I link my laptop to the TV so i have full screen 75 - 80% as good as Sky / Live TV, and sound too.

It's all good.

Thanks a ton for the replies.

I tried some of the websites u guys suggested but the easiest and quickest was doctor-serv... kudos tony!! And i am in CHicago...so despite not finding enough pubs to show the game...the off season and this whole lack of online streaming options is KILLLING ME...

Though your suggestions seemed good Oleary, i just didnt have the patience to go through setting up everything. But i shall tomorrow.

I currently have ATVO sub, but i dont think they are going to show the PREM games???

Also, i would love some english commentary...but i know watching footy..is watching footy...but still if something can be arranged...nothing like it...

They show extended highlights. Better than MOTD, but not a patch on Sky. Anyone know when the Arsenal TV station goes live?

One option for highlights (rather than subscribing to ATVO) is:
http://arsenaltv.blogspot.com/
If the offering for the friendlies is anything to go by then this could be a good source as the season progresses. They've also managed to do something I never could i.e. convert the ASF file format into XviD. That way you can burn to DVD. I've just realised as well that cancelling my subscription for the summer means that I can't even play the games I downloaded last season!

Hey,

I live in Holland and soon moving to Australia. I watch all the games on live-footy.nr or asiaplate.com. They show loads of different streams so you can often get them in English. Enjoy!

Greetings fellow gooners!

This is my first post on this great forum I found just a few days ago. It's only fitting that I post on this topic because I just found out that in Canada (where I live) we're only going to get the Sunday games live on TV. We used to get three games on Saturdays but the channel lost the rights for this season. Unfortunately, we're getting the shaft for the new season because like I said, the new channel is only showing the Sunday games.

All this leads up to my question: can I watch the games on any of these sites in Canada because live-footy apparently is only available in the States and England.

Any help will be greatly appreciated !
