I voted 3rd place and CL qualified.

I think manure and the chavs are too strong for us (unless Wenger pulls off some miraculous signings this week!!) and Liverpool will blow it again because Benitez is not tactically astute enough to win the league; a great cup manager but doesn't have it to win the league IMHO.

So 3rd, but only because the rest of the teams below us are so poor rather than us being good enough for 3rd... :(

so the gap between top 4 and the rest will get bigger?

I put 1st as well believe it or not, always optimistic, no matter what the odds, as Aragorn says There Is Always Hope before the Battle of Helm's Deep, and look what happened after that :barscarf:

Personally I think a top six finish considering our current squad will be a realistic finish, had you asked me before the Fulham match I would have said the same 8)

A lot has been said about the midfield yesterday, however having watched the whole game I saw the forward line having the same lack of penetration that we always suffer when a team take the lead against us.

They put up the shutters and we could find no way past. Ade still has not learned to time his runs in order to beat the off-side trap and we just ended up passing the ball in a crab like fashion from side to side.

We missed not only a ball winner but the vision of Cesc. A lot will depend on Arsene Wenger and his moves in the transfer market before we can truely say where we will finish in the league. A good buy in the middle could turn us from Fulham flops to title contenders so I am still keeping an open mind and say anything is possible. Top spot? why not! What is clear though is that the boss should have sorted this out a long time ago
