That musta been the Friday then yeah? Doves were brilliant that day, always are...Cornie wrote:Saw them at Wembley when Happy Mondays and Doves supported them, were excellent! No joy with tickets this time round.
Remember tuning in to the Saturday one on Sky with a bunch of mates then to get Liam's Wembley, Bob Geldoff rant, etc...great fun p1ssed up at home but if I'd paid for a ticket I'm not sure I woulda been too happy!

No,I love indie music and music in general, kudos on the avater by the way! They are just generic mindless bland knuckledragger music thats all!!g88ner wrote:I can't believe that's your genuine opinion. Oasis, awful?perry groves was a legend wrote:Oasis are awful live. But then oasis are just awful........Is that your opinion of the genre, or Oasis in particular? Stone Roses? If you're not a fan of indie and rock & roll, then ok...but for the aforementioned genre's Oasis certainly don't class as awful.
Tar very much. I'm a big fan of Bright Eyes... Conor Oberst is playing at the Electric Ballroom in Camden on Wednesday, so very much looking forward to thatperry groves was a legend wrote:No,I love indie music and music in general, kudos on the avater by the way! and unfortunately, I think it's generic and bland, so there you go.
Their first 2 albums were great though!

this is another song of the album, which is a improvement on shock of the lightning but its not that brillaint

I was a huuuuuge Oasis fan back in the 90's but I think their time just might have passed. Their music hasn't evolved, and they're music, to me, sounds tired..but they sold out their gigs, so fair play to 'em.

Feel exactly the same g88ner I wont be buying the new album and as for Coldplay all the songs off their 1st album Parachutes were brilliant in my humble opiniong88ner wrote:Well, it's definately better!Lethal wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPad-nZqFmw&fmt=18

I think they will continue to sell out tours as long as us 30 somethings that remember them in their hey day are willing to chase our youth. They were certainly the sound of the 90's but as has already been said, they now sound tired and need to change with the times. Love or hate her,Madonna has been very shrewd when it comes to reinventing herself and keeping up with changes to the music scene, somehow I cannot see Liam or Noel being able to do the same. Expect more bland music in the future and the ocassional attempt at ananthem type song.

A couple of years back, my student flat was broken into, and I was robbed - they took my tv, PC, Hi-Fi and all my CD's (and I had a lot!) but the only thing they didn't take was my Madonna 'Immaculate Collection' CD, which they'd left on the bed, smashed to smithereens

I really liked Parachutes, and even the second album was good, with tracks like Clocks and Scientistflash gunner wrote:Feel exactly the same g88ner I wont be buying the new album and as for Coldplay all the songs off their 1st album Parachutes were brilliant in my humble opinion

Was initially disappointed to be missing our 2nd leg but given the first leg & Sat's performance, maybe it's a good thing!
