Porto away advice please

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Depending on how many credits is needed,if were already through it will go down to 0. Depends on the importance really. But most european group away games go down to gold without credits.

It was in 2006 when I went. We stayed five nights which was a big mistake as it rained every day, not light rain but really heavy stuff which meant we couldn't do much sightseeing. The locals didn't seem at all bothered because it's like that every December. I wouldn't bother with an extended stay at that time of the year again. I'd go for the game and then come home.

Where did you see them?
I've just been on Ryanair and the cheapests I can do it is going out on the 9th Dec and returning 11th December its £340 for 2 tickets!

Flight on morning 10th returning 11th is nearly £500 for 2 tickets!!!

I've been searching for over an hour now!

Just to give you some kinda of idea. The 24 hour package with the Arsenal Travel Club last year to Milan was £200 including flights and transfers, a very good trip indeed. Not sure what it would be like for a day of twos accomodation but was very easy as everything was laid on for you.

Every away game you go to you get a credit on your travel club membership. If you aint got a travel club membership then forget it. You can't get 1 now.

Just booked my flights to Porto from Birmingham via Ryanair.... has worked out at £67 return for the four of us. Good price despite all the add-ons they make you pay i.e £8 each person for using my debit card!!

What dates are you going? I've been back on there again and the only got flights out on the 8th returning on the 12th and they are still coming out at £95 each which is ok but I dont want to be there for 4 days!!
