AW says he doesn't know when RoSICKy will return, personally I'm having doubts whether he'll pull on an Arsenal shirt again.

Problem is he's has a really rare injury which even at the time Gary Lewin as a physio would have never picked up.
He had a problem with his hamstring which was thought to be a strain (i think) so as soon as it had healed (which is quite a while) he was back in training. Then as soon as he would sprint the hamstring would go again.
This happend several time where Rosicky was expected back but would brake down.
Even on the scans to the area nothing seemed to be abnormal but Rosicky would keep trying to come back and fail as soon as he would sprint.
The decision was made to do some internal investigation which the doctor/surgen found that either the tendon attached the mussel or the mussell itself (I can't remember the excate) had come away from the bone. Which the mussel could heal and relax and would appear to be fixed but due the disconnect to the bone would flair up on sprinting.
This injury would have only been caused by a direct pin-point kick at the specific spot!
Now this has been fixed we should have Rosicky back and without any setbacks.
Obviously he's had surgury to fix this and well and the healing time again. I've heard this has been done and he is now in reahabilitation and started very light training.
In a months time we will probabley hear that he has started his pre-season work.

Thanks Boomer for that info, it was what they said in the prgramme...quite mad to think not even an MRI scan can pick up that injury!Rocky Number Seven wrote:I genuinly believe that when he is back Rosicky will partner Cesc in the centre - not the tough tackling option we wanted but an attacking dream. Rosicky next to Cesc would not be so bad as though he is thin, Rosicky can tackle well.
Be good option for 4-5-1 too, if they were next to each other with Toure or Song or Djourou behind as a safety net in front of the defence.

I always thought Rosicky was better suited than Hleb to playing that off the striker role in that as well creating he actually offers a goal threat. It's a similar role to the one he plays for the Czech national team as well.
Think he'll be back on the wing somehow if/when he comes back, but if we could get in a quality, strong CDM then a midfield of Rosicky-HardBastard-Cesc-Nasri would possibly be of title-winning quality! Defence and GK? Not so much.

Hope to see you soon Mozart!
i have loved super tom since i got a bit into german football in 2002 on an exchange trip and i was so happy when we signed him. The somewhat sad thing about Rosicky is that we are really yet to see his real best although he has shown glimpes of his ability to carry the weight of that number 7 shirt. Remembering Bobby still brings a tear to my eye though
