Coming to terms with a Thierry-less Arsenal (27/7)

Coming to terms with a Thierry-less Arsenal (27/7)

Usual thread starter. Noticed that th14 scored for barca in their 1-0 win over Dundee Utd last night, but it was a penalty, so can’t count as a great return to form really. I think he’ll get enough rest in Spain to get the best out of him, although I have a feeling he will soon get weary of coming off the bench if that is what happens. In a funny way, I think he will miss Arsenal more than he probably believes at the moment. Let’s just hope we don’t miss him!

We proved last season that we can cope without him, i to believe he will miss Arsenal more than he thinks i can't wait to see his face when Dein returns
Henry says he moved because Arsene wouldn't commit his future but thats a load of bull shite i honestly think that he knew this season that RvP would be automatic 1st choise and Henry and Ade would be used for diffrent games.

He won't start all games at Barca anyway, Rijkaard has said he will have a rotation period for their four 'super strikers'.

I still think that at his best (i.e when he was at his best) Henry was miles ahead of Ronaldinho will ever be, and he and Bergkamp together was a better partnership than anything Barca could put together with their four strikers on the field at once.

All-in-all, even though he cored very useful goals last season during the few games he played, his mind was clearly not on the job and he was often carelessly giving the ball ... he has also had some negative impact on the players ....

I say: we will miss the Henry of sooo many seasons past, but definitely not the version we had last season ... I suspect had he stayed, we would have had more of last season's version ....

So, he has played his role .. and adios and muchas grazias ... but the gunners must go on to their new challenges .... he will soon be forgotten yesterday's news ...
