Robinho To City!!!!!!!!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think its the best thing to happen in football since 2004. Im pissing myself laughing at Abramovich. Remember the saying mate "THERE IS ALWAYS A BIGGER FISH"
At last the man who has helped ruin football will now be outbid by City LOL
So Abramovich has 13 Billion !! These new owners have a reported 800 Billion lol
Really you have to laugh. Hopefully it will bring Chelski dwon to size. LOL Still laughing.

Word from the spanish radio station that confirmed the Beckham move to Real Madrid has confirmed Robinho has joined City!

Apparently, they were happy to sell to anyone other than Chelsea because of the way they acted. How fuckin good is that! Chelsea were being all "we are richest club in world" we will pay whatever we want, then City came in and said fuck off you russian *word censored*! Our club is considerablly richer than yourssss (in a Harry Enfield stylee)

Looks like city offered 35m and Real told them thats not enough, so they said ok, how about 40m (euro) - How much money have they got to just keep upping offers!!!!

I am looking....and he hasn't signed yet. Unless you're in Europe, and happen to be an hour ahead of me?

Probably just a matter of time though, mate.

Fuck it I disagree with everyone slating citeeh and saying that it aint good for football. Why shouldnt they gatecrash the party like chavski has done ? Why shouldnt they get in the faces of their rival clubs and try and bully them financially like manure have done for years ?

People talk about respect in the football world like it is the ultimate goal but I dont see chavski suffering too much in that regard. Players have long lost respect for the clubs and supporters they represent as they now nearly all live in the "show me the money" world  How many times have our fans been on here posting about the total lack of respect that our own club shows us :?: It isnt as if we the supporters believe 100% in the whole respect ethos either cos we are told by many of our peers that we should put behind the behaviour of *word censored* like ade and move forward and support him while he plays for the club ?? I always believed that if you dont show respect for yourself then you cant expect others to show you respect and I believe that applies here

It seems some fans here are very concerned, and rightly so, that citeehs new found wealth may have dire consquences for our club. All of a sudden the windfall from the highbury development is not looking as promising is it ?   Seriously though we cannot expect other clubs to stand still just cos we are and this point has been made so many times on here over the last 18 months. I have always felt that we should be concentrating on doing everything we can to make ourselves the top dogs instead of living off everybody elses weaknesses which is what we have been surviving on for the last few seasons. If the scum hadnt of literally shit themselves 3 seasons ago we would not have qualified for the champs league and god knows what knock on effect that would bring us but rather than take this as a warning we have drifted on, losing even more players, and have only maintained our position due to the inabilities of our new rivals (scum, villa, citeeh etc) Times are a changing ladies and gents or maybe they have been changing for some time now while we were in a zombie like trance

As if he's going to! Anyway, I don't know why you're so happy about it. Haven't you realised yet that the club in biggest danger from this move is Arsenal? :banghead: :banghead:

dead right, its getting harder every year to stay a top club and with little investment in the playing side of things then its us and liverpool that will be looking over our shoulders
