I'm also frustrated that we haven't signed anyone, but to say we can't win the league because of one player is bullshit imo. Our chances of winning the league look extremely slim, but to give up now only, 3 games in ludicrous.Lethal wrote:i wouldtinpot lane wrote:I wouldn't go that farg88ner wrote:You know...assuming that something hasn't slipped through, this is a serious blow to out title chances.
There is no way we can win the league with this squad. What is Wenger playing at?

do you think man utd would have won the league without ronaldo last season ? one player can make all the differencetinpot lane wrote:I'm also frustrated that we haven't signed anyone, but to say we can't win the league because of one player is bullshit imo. I'm shocked by the attitude of our club.
And I'm shocked that you are shocked

Listen this hasnt snuck up on us overnight - the signs have been ominous for a while now and no club would sell any half decent player at the end of a transfer window unless they had a replacement lined up or unless they received a mega offer and Arsenal dont do mega offers

Highly unlikely a defensive player will win the league single handedlyLethal wrote:do you think man utd would have won the league without ronaldo last season ? one player can make all the differencetinpot lane wrote:I'm also frustrated that we haven't signed anyone, but to say we can't win the league because of one player is bullshit imo. How can Wenger defend the decision to not replace Diarra, Flamini and Gilberto??augie wrote:g88ner wrote:You know...assuming that something hasn't slipped through, this is a serious blow to out title chances.

The reason I'm shocked, is that deep down, I just couldn't believe the club would do such a thing. PHW, Wenger and Friszman have recently mad it very clear that significant funds are available...so logically, we had to bring in a ball winning midfielder...without one, I can't see how winning the title is possible. I'm in total disbelief.
Wenger has to now be held accountable if we fail to challenge for the title, or win a cup, because I honestly think what he's done is bordering on sabotaging our season.
I feel that strongly about this. I'm stunned.
All I can say is that Denilson better improve very quickly.
